Once a petty thief, Mahogany prided herself on her ability to steal anything from anyone. That proved to be wrong, as she failed to steal a valuable artifact from Kileburgh’s Auruist Church. Rather than being jailed or executed, however, the leader - the newly-reborn aurusalkar Roman - not only allowed her to stay, but developed romantic feelings for her. Feelings that she would say are not reciprocated.
She considers herself to be a prisoner regardless of how well they treat her. Some days she would say it’s worse than just being executed… but she knows that’s not true.

Her magic allows her to summon a spectral, shadowy paw that can move where she may not be able to - through locked cell bars, for instance, or into the pocket of a noble.
