After Moving to Inkopolis early in her life, Tiara became determined to be the best. Standing alongside her partner(?) and bandmate Queen, she's determined to make it to the top of the Inkopolis charts, despite her fashion sense being stuck in 2007.

Tiara is about as loud as her outfits are chaotic, she rarely lets any moment pass in silence. Tiara's very driven by her emotions, which she feels quite intensely. She'll eagerly drag anyone she can get her hands on to concerts, shows movied, even the most mundane events. Rarely does she plan anything, more so she picks a goal and then takes as many side quests as she wants to before she does eventually reach it. While she may seem vapid on the surface, Tiara is not a dumb squid. When she focuses on something, it happens in some form or another.
Tiara is a very chearful person. Simply walking down the street, she'll often stop at least once to compliment someone's outfit she thinks is cute. Se just can't help but share her excited energy whenever she has the chance to.
Tiara is one half of a duo band she and her bandmate Queen are trying to get off the ground, called RoyalSea. Tiara provides the vocals. After a few years of trying with no real success (probbaly due to a lack of a proper song) see wants to change things and make some actual music, but she isn't sure how.
She lives her life very in the moment. She only thinks of the future in terms of the next upcoming event, or in hypotheticals such as "When we're famous" or "When we figure that out"
Normal anger can drive her to be rash, but if pushed far enough her emotions fade out, leaving only a cold, calculated fury in their wake. When she reaches this state her actions become much more deliberate and planned, due to her subconciously supressing her other emotions.
She seems really mean to her friends, even more so to those she's really close to, but that's because she doesn't really know how to express love or affection, due to her past. Those who know her know this, and understand how she feels deep down.

To those she doesn't know, Tiara is overwhelmingly nice. Her usual positive attitude makes her nice to encounter, as she usualy will lavish anyone she sees with a compliment. She's cheerful, energetic, optimistic, and overall, just a very positive and hyper presence.

To her friends, they joy and hyperactivity remains, but for them there's also some changes. Tiara's a lot more mean, insulting them and laughing at their misfortune. At first it's offputting and potentially friendship ending in some cases, but those who stick around long enough see small moments of hesitation, vulnerability, where Tiara doesn't seem to know what she's doing, like she's lost. They come to realize that the insults are Tiara's way of showing affection, she's comfortable enough and she feels the bond is strong enough to give something other than compliments. She feels she can tell them their issues and shortcomings, because they're close enough that their bond can take these hits and survive. She just also happens to lack social tact, which can make some of the insults much meaner than she ment them to be.

In addition to the cheery exterior, and the unsure barbs that lay underneeth, those who'd call themselver her family see another thing. Tiara has a very rough relationship with her own emotions. She acts on the surface ones regularly, but she seems afraid of the deeper, more complex and powerful ones. Though, despite her attempts to shy away from those she ends up acting on them all the same. She's constantly around these people, spending every moment with them she can. She regularly showers them with her unique gestures and acts of affection, though they often go unnoticed, not that she minds. These people see her for how she truely is, a girl scared of her own emotions, but so driven by them she can't help but act. A loving, selfless, and happy person.
Backstory
Childhood
Tiara's life wasn't the best at first. Raised only by her mother, her excited nature survived her mother's attempts to quash it.
She was 11 when her life changed for the better. That day, she was randomly taken at the Reefseeker home. She bonded with Mavi instantly, they ran off to play as the grownups argued downstairs.
The duo meets Queen not long after while playing outside one day. On the days when Tiara is left at her house, the three would often hang out and play. They never played at Mavi's house, as her mom didn't like Queen, and the trio just didn't want to deal with that.
Things got better for Tiara when Mavi's mom left. The two never got along well, and with her gone Queen could freely come and go through the house.
Eventually, Tiara is left at the Reefseeker's permanently, alongside the reveal that Tiara is Mavi's half sister (They share a dad).
Mavi's dad falls ill, and dies not long after. Tiara has to watch as Queen succumbs to her depression and Mavi diassociate completely. It drives her crazy that she can't help.
Mavi's mom returns, and with her comes hell. When she's not being openly agressive to Tiara, she is almost completely neglecting her.
Things only get better after they get worse. Mavi's mom breaks her hand in an act of agression, and she wakes up in the hospital surrounded by her friends. Her hand never heals completely correctly, but her heart does now that her friends are back.
The next month they spend preparing to move out on their own, and the day that Mavi turns 18 they do.
After the first few months of their new lives, Tiara and Queen "start" RoyalSea.
- Tiara's base design isn't particularly complicated, it's in her various outfits that things can change that.
- The basic traits that make her different from a human aren't unique to Tiara, but are a result of Splatoon's character design, and the design of Inklings as a whole.
- The biggest thing to note with Inkling characters is that they don't have hair, instead they have tentacles on their head that look similar, but are distinct. For all intents and purposes, they function like hair and hair styles, just with a different different outline shapes and texture.
- Each eye has a small black mask around it, with a line connecting them.
- Inkling's ears are pointed, similar to a fanstay elf's, and they point out from the side of their heads.
- Tiara's tentacles (hair) majorly favors the right side of her face. The left side has a spaller tentacle with a unique color pattern on it.
- Tiara's skin is pale, without any tan.
- Her build is very thin, almost underweight in it's form. Tiara has very little in the way of curves on her body, at most a comparatively narrow waist.
- The tiara on her head is always present, regardless of the outfit or situation.

APPEARENCE
Skin Tone: Her ivory skin is befitting of someone who minimizes time outside. Her outfits often covering her body do little to help her remady this.
Tentacles: Tiara's tentacles are quite large. They comfortably part, with the majority favoring her right side. Her tentacles are naturally a charcoal black, but twords the ends they lighten to a sandy beige, with slightly brighter beige spots that mirror her freckles. Occasionally she'll add color the ends to spice things up. She has a smaller tentacle that hangs on the left side of her face that's discolored. It hangs to about her shoulders, and alternates between white, black, and red.
Freckles: Tiara has a pretty consnstant dusting of freckles acorss her entire body, with particularly dense patches around her eyes, on top of her left shoulder, across her back, and on the back of her hands. They're the same color as the black portion of her tentacles.
Nose: Her nose is small and very slightly crooked. A break in her childhood didn't set completely right, but it's only noticeable up close.
Eyes: Her eyes are a very deep blue. Her eyelashes are naturally long, and she regularly accents them. When she does, she will use the same purple as her mascara. Her lashes and eyebrows are black. She keeps her eyebrows thin.
Mouth: Tiara has thin lips, they are usualy chapped. Her teeth are white and clean, she has fangs on both sides, but her smile is slightly lopsided, resulting in typically only seeing her left fang.
Ears: Her ears are pointed. Despite what you'd think with her extravagent outfits, Tiara doesn't wear earings. Her ears are very sensitive, and she can't stand the pain of getting them pierced.
Arms/Hands: Her arms are thin, not devoid of muscle but not very strong either. She has small hands, and her fingers are slender and long. She often paints her nails a very bright color. Due to an accident when she was young, she can't grip things tight with her right hand, when she rests her fingers default to a partially bent position.
Legs/Feet: Most of Tiara's height is in her legs. They are thin and somewhat angular. She often paints her toenails even though she wears heavy boots.

Overview: Tiara has a lot of presence. She carries herself with a level of energy and confidence that demands attention, good or bad. She is very loud, and tends to get louder when she's excited. She is also very prone to movement, a lot of emotions and empasis are communicated through her arms and posture.
Emotions: She is quite driven by her emotions on a daily basis, being rather impusive and rude as a result. However, the angrier she gets, the more effort she's willing to put into something, resulting in more controled and directed action. If she gets to overhwlmed she will shut down emotionally, in which case she becomes very cold and distant until she can get away and process what's on her mind.
Ego: Her ego regularly gets in her way, even when she knows something is a bad idea or will backfire horribly. These days she's got a better handle on it unless she's worked up.
Aura: She typically has a smug, "I know something you don't" aura, but on days where she doesn't have any plans or isn't dressed up it's not nearly as present. She's gotten better at toning it down, after many instances of public humiliation.
Work Ethic: Tiara still isn't used to having to do things on her own. As a result, her work ethic is typically spured by necessity, if she doesn't HAVE to do it she'll typically abandon it reather quickly. There are a few choice exceptions to this.
OVERVIEW: Fashion being one of her hobbies, Tiara takes pride in her ever-evolving wardrobe. She keeps a seasonal rotation of clothes, changing how she looks regularly to help keep both herself comfortable, and her brand fresh. Realistically, she doesn't want to put in the effort to dress up every single day, so if there's not something big happening she keeps a seperate cycle of outfits for the more down-low days. Her signature tiara stays on no matter what.
FORMAL: She has some actual normal formal dresses, used ONLY for when she has a big event with her family. She refuses to wear them anywhere else. She has several decorated dresses and corsets more her style that she'll combo with other accessories when she has to dress up.
HIGH EFFORT SUMMER: She keeps the black of course, despite the heat, opting for a mesh crop top, a short frilly skirt and striped leggings. The color of the leggings is chosen to go alongside her tentacle clip and fingerless gloves. A pair of platform knee boots with plenty of buckles completes her esnamble.
LOW EFFORT SUMMER: A simple tank top and either a skirt or some short depending on how she feels. Some basic sneaker if she's going out anywhere, and maybe a bracelet or necklace if she feels up to it.
HIGH EFFORT AUTUMN: Make way for flannel jakcets and ripped jeans. if it's warm enough she'll wear a crop top under the jacket, or leggings and a skirt. She keeps the fingerless gloves, making sure their color matches with her flannel, and rotates various necklaces, bracelets and other small accessories to keep it interesting. She wears shorter platform boots with the jeans, only about halfway up her lower leg. I'f she's in a skirt and leggings though she'll wear the big boots.
LOW EFFORT AUTUMN: Graphic tees make their presence known, though they'll often be covered by a btightly colored light jacket. Ripped jeans are here to stay. The sneakers are still worn often, and around this time she usualy just wears a necklace to pair with her jacket.
HIGH EFFORT WINTER: Once it gets cold you won't see her without a jacket. Usually she'll wear her black leggings under her jeans, unless it's really cold, in which case she had some heavier, non ripped pairs. She'll layer long sleeve shirts under her jacket, and when it's bad enenough she has a few scarves to match with her outfit. She doesn't wear hoods, on account of her tentacles being so large, so she often wears earmuffs. The fingerless gloves gain fingers, and she swaps in some non-platform boots for the winter as well.
LOW EFFORT WINTER: If it's low effort in the Winter it's because it's COLD. Outfit coheasion is out the window, she is dressing to be warm above all else. She owns a few particularly heavy jackets for such a case, but they don't fit her style so they're only used in emergencies. Oversized hoodies are also worn if she's around the house.
HIGH EFFORT SPRING:
The skirts make a comeback in force. She tends to prefer longer skirts around time because of the lingering chill, and she'll ofetn keep her jeans on underneath. The heavy jackets make way for the lighter ones, and she swaps back to her fingerless gloves. The bracelets also come back out and the boots gain their platforms again.LOW EFFORT SPRING: Leggings, a tanktop, and a jacket if it's still chilly. If it's cold enough she'll wear bright colored oversized hoodies.
- Tiara: Tiara's tiara acts as both her icon and her namesake. The tiara's shape is symetrical, featuring one prominent spike in the center, one lesser spike on each side, and then 2 smaller spikes with the last spike tapering to the edge of the tiara. It is all black, though she will occasionally put stickers on it.
- Mascara: Light purple mascare in combination with black eye shadow work together to create a unique smokey eye effect. The light purple cake is as critical to her looks as the Tiara is, even if less people recognize it.
- Tattoo: A small black heart tattoo sits under her right eye. It matches the one under Queen's left eye. They got them together when Tiara turned 19 "as a sign of friendship"
- Choker: Her most common choker is a thin lace design of interlocking loops. Her other chokers follow a similar aesthetic, though a few stand out for more distinct outfits.
- Necklaces: She had a very large collection of necklaces to choose from. Big and small, bright and dark, there isn't a color she isn't able to match a necklace with. Most of the necklaces are of a higher quality, and would probably be considered the "nicest" things she wears.
- Fingerless Gloves: These long gloves run all the way up just shy of her shoulders. They add to her "regal air" while still leaving her fingers free. She has everal different pairs of different colors and designs.
- Bracelets: Similar to her necklace collection, she has a very large number of bracelets at her disposal. These bracelets, in conteast with the generally high quality necklaces, are much more free in their designs. Bead bracelets, cheap plastic spikes, real spikes, buckles rubber bands, more beads, these aren't necessairly ment to complement any outfit but to be a piece in their own right.
- Belts: When she's wearing her jeans, you're guarenteed to see one of her studded belts. They come in all kinds of colors, perfect for accenting her outfit. She'll often wear a studded belt along with her skirts as well, though she does have some thinner belts for them too.
- Platform Knee Boots: Whenever she's out to be seen, the wants to ake every chance she can get. The extra height makes her stand out more in crowds, and the belts lining them act as the final piece she needs to complete her aesthetic.

Cute Collecting: Tiara's collection is less of a collection and more of a mass of color and bright an fluff. She's very weak to cute things, so any shopping trip she takes will likely have a few more soft and fluffy friends brought home. She does have a few specific collections she seeks out too, namely more bracelets.
Singing: If she's not asleep or talking someone's ear off, Tiara is most likely to be found humming, singing, or vocalizing in some way. It can be a song she heard on the radio at some point in the last 26 years, something completely new on the spot, a tune that's she's been "working" on for a few years now, or a completly aimless melody. She often does it without realizing, but she also does it deliberately just as often.
Browsing Music Fourms: It was initially a plan to scope out the most popular bands to figure out how they're so succesful. Then, she watched a few performances from some smaller bands that she really ended up liking, and couldn't help but shower them with compliments. It quickly became something she enjoyed doing, and has build a bit of a reputation for herself on the more popular fourm pages. "A force of positivity and joy" rides as her unoffocial slogan, always finding something nice to say about people's music, and then geeking out with them over new releases. She and this other user, MC.Princess, are often seen in friendly competition to be the first one to a new band's posts.
Moving: Tiara has a very hard time sitting still. She'll always be stimming, fidgiting, playing with something, or vocalizing. She doesn't often think about what it specifically she's doing, as long as something is keeping oer occupied. If she's distracted you can pass things to her and she won't notice as she takes them.
Spending: She's a habitual spender. A consequence of her upbringing in a well to do family, if she sees something she wants she tends to buy now without thinking about later. Recently, she's been trying her best to break this habit, and to some extent she's been succesful, it's not as bad as it used to be.
Hyperfixating: Tiara's in a constant race to entertain herself, so it doesn't happen that often, but when she really wants to focus on something, it's like a switch flips. Almost everything from the outside world gets tuned out as she exclusively puts herself and all her effort into whatever it is she's working on. When in this state she is extremely fidgity, stimming constantly, often vocally.
WAY OF SPEAKING: Tiara is a force of excitement. She often talks fast and energetically.

QUIRKS: On occasion Tiara gets so excited she blends words together, making her almost impossible to understand. When she really likes something she puts an extreme amount of emphasis and will often repeat the word when she's telling someone she likes it.
Tiara has a tendency to babble. Its a mix between liking the sound of her own voice and needing to fill the silence. She enjoys sharing her world with others, and leaps at any opportinuty to do so. Tiara's poor handle on her emotions can backfire on her, as she will spit venom and be generally mean to everyone around her when she's upset.

PASSION: Whatever she dedicates herself to she puts almost all her effort behind it, no matter what it is. She cares alot about the works she does, so she does the best work she can.
POSITIVE: No matter how dire the situation is Tiara is positive to a fault. She'll always find something that was done well or a bright side to any situation.
EAGER: Tiara is always excited to do things, no matter how bit or mundane. It can be anything, helping her friends, eating a meal, going grocery shopping. It's very easy to tell when Tiara doesn't want to do something, because she doesn't get excted to do it.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Tiara is not very strong, and when coupled with her hand leaves her unable to help in many physical situations. This annoys her and can occasionally cause problems where she tries to help somewhere she knows she can't.
UNCLEAR: She's not the best at getting her message across. In general, but especially when she's excited, her wording isn't always clear, and she often forgets to clarify important details about things.
FICKLE: Tiara's tendency to get distracted makes her unreliable on occasion. She's been known to cancel plans without warning, though she doesn't do this very often.
Some of the guiding principles Tiara lives her life by.
KINDNESS ABOVE ALL: Tiara is absolutely convinced that kindness is the best option in almost every circumstance. Ultimately that's what she'd want people to do for her, the world is a dreary place if everyone is mean all the time.
MUSIC IS FUNDAMENTAL: She is sure that music is one of the most important things one can have in their life. It's vital for everyone to hear all kinds of music, it helps people feel things they should.
JOY IS A HEALTH REQUIREMENT: People need to feel joy/happiness regularly in their lives or they'll be miserable. She's thinks that people can become genuinely ill if they've been miserable too long.
Tiara's self doubts, the things that bother her about herself.
ROYALSEA: As much as she's enjoyed her time with Queen in the band, she secretly feels like it's not going to go anywhere. She worries that any success they find might be a fluke and ultimately the band just fizzles away into nothing.
SHE'S DOING ENOUGH: She puts as much positivity into the world as she can. She's trying to kickstart a band to bring even more, but deep down she doesn't feel like it's enough. While she doesn't regret what she's done already, she worries that nothing she's doing ultimately amounts to anything.
HER FRIEND ARE REAL: Despite her cheery exterior, Tiara is a rather insecure person. She worries that all of her friends just put up with her out of pity. She doesn't see herself as really worthy of having friends, and thouhg she'll never say a word about it she feels guilty any time one of them goes out of their way to help her with something.
ROYALSEA: Take their band, RoyalSea, to the top, influence millions with their music and make a positive change in the world through it.
GAIN COMPLETE INDEPENDENCE: Tiara's time with her family wasn't good. She lives off their money at the moment, but she wants to completely break away from them and not have to associate herself with them anymore. RoyalSea is her primary plan to achieve this.
'PAYBACK' HER SISTER: Mavi helped Tiara when she was at her absolute lowest, doing far more than Tiara thinks any person should have to do to help someone. Mavi tells her that she doesn't have to worry about any kind of payback, just "pay it forward where you can", but Tiara still wants to repay her somehow.

HATRED:Tiara is afraid of hatred. She knows how strongly she can feel things, and she's afraid of what a negative feeling that strong could mean. She claims she's neveer hated anything in her life, but she knows that's not true, she just doesn't let herself think about the things she truly does hate.
BEATLES/ROACHES: While she's generally fine with most bugs (she still thinks they're gross), for some reason those with a hard shell just send her into an absolute fit. She's passed out when a roach flew at her several times in the past.
ABANDONMENT: She's not afraid of being alone, she can sleep without someone near and run to the grocery store alone, she's afraid that the people she's close to will leave her for good. This stems from deeply rooted feelings of inadequacy, as well as bad experiences from her past.

PHYSICAL ILLNESSES/ DISABILITIES:Damaged Right Hand
An accident when she was young left Tiara's right hand damaged. Her finger's can't curl inwards with any strength, making holding things with that hand a challenge. She can't hold a pencil, phone, or any other smaller objects in that hand. She was forced to learn how to do everything with her left hand as a result, and is now ambidextrous.
MENTAL ILLNESSES/ DISABILITIES: ADHD, Mildly autistic.
ADHD: Tiara is often distracted or quickly moves onto something different. For the most part she lets her attention flow wherever it wants to go, but when she's trying to focus on something and she's not in the zone it frustrates her a lot. Many band practices have suffered as a result.
Mild autism: Sometimes, Tiara's focus lasers in on one thing in specific, she accidentally ends up dedicating she has to that one thing, completely forgetting about any social obligations and often forgetting to eat or sleep when she's working. People have to check in on her regularly when she's like this, making sure she eats and sleeps during this time. It rarely lasts for more than a few days.
She collects some things in excessive quantities, bracelets and plush toys mainly, though she also has impresssive collections of stickers, necklaces, and bookmarks.
Forming relationships: She struggles to form deeper connections with people, especially due to her unusual stance on kindness and insults with those she's close to. Because she so strongly believes in kindness above all else, she's always nice with people she doesn't know. When she gets close to someone, she believes that the bond that she has means she doesn't have to be exclusively nice to them anymore. Now that there's a trust between then she can say things that might hurt them, because of that bond.
