Profile
to match with the spooky naming theme
to emphasise her new role in protecting the clan and watching them grow.
ThunderClan healer Boogarden has lived a life full of loss. From her very first friend, Sequoiatower, to her parents and one of her only siblings, she's witnessed and experienced death before. Perhaps this lends itself to her connection to StarClan, and her spooky appearance.
Sometimes, she feels safer among the ghosts of the past, in the hallowed halls of StarClan. However, she doubts their power and their wisdom, believing that if they truly were as influential as they claimed to be, they would have helped the clans. With a passion for healing and learning, she has a tendency to interact with strangers; some of which share her beliefs.

And the ones who had loved her the most

- This fluffy healer takes on a beautiful ginger and smoke black pelt sprawled with dashed stripes, framed by her puffy fur. A pretty cream covers her chest and tail, curled into a distinctive ring. Black speckles dot her unique coat. A tuft of fur on her forehead fails to mask her unusual eyes; one a warm pumpkin amber, and the other the fading yellow of treesap. Two crystals, mossy amethysts, are tucked behind her right ear, and a rosey-faced lovebird's feather sticks out from the left of her chest fur. Leaves are scattered in her pelt. A conch shell, a gift from her beloved, is tucked inside her tail. Around her front right paw, a slightly glowing sunstone bracelet is wrapped. A scar sits on her left paw.

Amongst the trees and flora of ThunderClan’s woods, lives a healer named Boogarden. She may appear simple- like a puppet of StarClan- but there is more behind her amber and gold gaze. Cats who have encountered her are quick to describe her as benevolent- in her position, she has to be. She is well meaning, and kind- quick to soothe and even quicker to succour.
Boogarden is idealistic, consistently aiming for perfection; which isn’t always realistic. She persistently pushes herself, trying to reach new heights, which has produced creative innovations and techniques.
Furthermore, she is extremely trusting, and she is easily swayed to believe in whatever another cat wants, unable to see any signs of untrustworthiness. This is one of the reasons she believes Sequoiatower was a good person- then again, so does most of the clan.
Boogarden can be rather maternal, trying to look after younger cats that she encounters. Where did she get this from, though? Swampeace wasn’t exactly an adoring parent. Well, that’s another mystery, my friend- one we’ll likely never solve.
She is also a conformist, defaulting to the norm, even when it would be better not to- except in extreme cases. She believes in StarClan, and mostly follows the warrior code. Additionally, this healer is fatalistic- a side effect of her steady trust in her warrior ancestors. She believes everything is laid out, and there is no use in changing it- leading to inflexibility.
If you thought being absentminded is bad enough, she is also forgetful, important topics constantly slipping from her mind. It’s a wonder she manages to remember her training. This leads to her forgetting about attending half-moon meetings quite often, as well as clan meetings and where she put that one herb leaf.
- She was born ten days before Halloween.
- Her zodiac is a Libra and her shengxiao is a tiger.
- Boogarden is an ENFP-T, her temperament is sanguine and her alignment is chaotic good.
- Her father Cardinalpine taught her how to fight.
"What do you mean? I don't lie. (lie.) I can't help blurting out the truth! (true.)"
Boogarden has an annoying habit of blurting out the truth when put under pressure, something that annoys her denmates when they're trying to act discreetly. She can, however, tell small white lies.
"I notice my eyes, but everyone notices my height! What?"
One of her most prominent features, Boogarden notices her slightly differently coloured eyes first, but others notice just how short she is.
"I'd fight! I'd stand up tall and bare my teeth and raise my claws and-"
She'd run away. Boogarden is a coward, no matter how much she tries to tell others that she's not, that'd she'd stay and fight when it mattered. The keyword being 'when it mattered.'
"Yeah. I think I am. Isn't that funny?"
Boogarden has spoken to StarClan, become the head medicine cat, trained three apprentices, and gotten a mate.
"Everyone being good n' kind n' nice, and eternal leaf-fall!"
Boogarden just wants everyone to be happy. She believes that no one deserves to be sad, no matter who they are, and she just loves leaf-fall!
Bookit was born to Swampeace and Cardinalpine alongside her siblings Frightkit and Terrorkit in ThunderClan. When she was but a few days old, she bore witness to Sequoiatower’s secret plot to drive away Bunnystar, leaving the camp covered in rabbit blood. She would soon forget this, however. When the ThunderClan deputy moved into the nursery, expecting her kittens Arachnidkit and Wolverinekit, Bookit befriended her, and she regaled the young kitten with tales of fantastic adventures. However, a hunting trip gone wrong led to the deputy’s death, and Bookit requested that she would become a medicine cat, to help others and hopefully prevent more incidents, like the one that had befallen Sequoiatower. Swampeace agreed, and she begun her training.
Appointed as ThunderClan’s newest healer, Boopaw trained under her mother, Swampeace, for the majority of her apprenticeship, with assistance from Cinnamonsparrow. She quickly grasped the concept of healing, and assisted with many an ailment. She also befriended Frogpaw. When she was older, Cardinalpine led her out on a family trip, alongside Swampeace, Frightpaw, and Terrorpaw. He brought them to the RiverClan border and introduced them to Sea-snakeshiver and Sealscuttle, his adoptive children, and Geodepaw, Sealscuttle’s adopted son. Boopaw was shocked; how had he hid this from them all this time? The family stayed in RiverClan for a while, but Frightpaw and Terrorpaw returned to ThunderClan shortly after. While the three remaining members stayed, Cardinalpine developed greencough, and died, Swampeace and Boopaw being unable to save him. She was distraught, and blamed herself for his death. Swampeace later gave birth to three kittens, which she named Nightingalekit, Sparrowkit, and Ravenkit. She gave up the latter two to Sealscuttle, before returning to ThunderClan, Boopaw and Nightingalekit in tow. Boopaw was entrusted with keeping the secret of the other two kits, and isolated herself from her siblings in the process, afraid it would slip out.
When Swampeace led her to the Moontree and granted her the name Boogarden, citing her new purpose in life, she felt complete. Her mother later took on another apprentice; Treaclepaw, which the tortoiseshell largely stayed away from. However, when Swampeace drowned in the waters running through the forest, Boogarden took over the young tabby’s training. During this, Frightspecter disappeared from camp and never returned, at the same time as WindClan warrior Guppyink. When Treaclepaw completed her training, Boogarden gave her the name Treaclejest. She would later take on Cranepaw as her second and (hopefully) final apprentice.
Later, Boogarden met the RiverClan warrior Vulturelurk, and escorted them back to their territory. She would meet Vulturelurk two more times, and developed a crush. The healer gifted them a kingfisher's feather, and in return received a conch shell. She met Crescent Moon at the Gathering place, who gifted her a rosey-faced lovebird's feather as a symbol of StarClan's faith through every trial. She also met Tulipbane. One night, Boogarden met Swampeace in StarClan, and was told that her parents had broken up. Boogarden encountered Snoozepaw and Coastshore of ShadowClan, saved Rosemarykit, and puzzled over a mystery with Kismetkeeper.
She assisted Petalpounce with her kits, and Tsvitochik. Cranepaw had died, but she gave the late apprentice the name Cranebloom. Boogarden met Vulturelurk once more, during a heavy storm, and comforted them about their deceased siblings, Owltwinkle and Eaglesurf, and the disappearance of their father, Drizzlingspell. The warrior also encountered her while she was musing about her own family, by her kin's makeshift grave, and helped make one for Vulturelurk's family, This is also when Boogarden realised her feelings for them.
Later, Treaclejest succumbed to illness. Boogarden talked with Cinnamonsparrow, met Chirruppaw of WindClan, Elegydancer, Nimbusveil, Chipmunkchatter, Flamefeast, and Mourningquiver. She told ThunderClan the tale of Thornstar and Vineripple. Vulturelurk moved to ThunderClan, and they both confessed their feelings for each other, becoming mates. She took on a new apprentice- Snufflepaw- and Cinnamonsparrow retired.
Snufflepaw became Snufflesprig, and Boogarden met Quailpaw, Lingonberrypaw, and Ai. While out in ThunderClan territory with Vulturelurk, they stumbled up three kits, who they took in and named Kingfisherkit, Amethystkit and Scamperkit.
- Born in ThunderClan, becomes a medicine cat, father dies, mother drowns, sibling disappears.
- Crushes on Vulturelurk and becomes mates with them.

The two cats who would come to be known out of the roleplay as Passerine met one night in ThunderClan territory. Vulturelurk had ventured into the woods, and Boogarden encountered them, guiding them out. The healer gifted them a kingfisher feather. On their next meeting, the warrior returned the favour by giving her a conch shell. To be updated.
