Dagen is a very curious person and loves traveling to new places, learning new things, and meeting new people. People usually find him charming at first but his intrusive and quick tempered nature makes it difficult for him to form lasting relationships. He gets bored of things quickly and is always looking for something new and interesting. He doesn’t like being constrained by laws but he won’t go out of his way to break them.
Dagen has a pet king cobra named King!

Childhood
Dagen was born in the small remote village of Sarunek. The people of his village are a close-knit community of very close-minded and traditional people. No one ever really leaves the village and new people aren’t welcome. Anything seeming cursed or demonic in nature is severely looked down upon and people are cast out for breaking any big rules. Dagen always felt stifled by the atmosphere of his village and was known for causing trouble and towing the line, but when he started practicing blood curses, that was the final straw. His parents disowned him and he was cast out. He holds a lot of animosity toward his village and his parents, as well as his older brother who was the perfect child his parents had always favored, but he was ultimately relieved when he was exiled because now he was free to do whatever he wanted.
Post-exile
During one of his first travels, Dagen was robbed in his sleep. They took what little money he had, but what upset him the most was that they took a necklace that was very important to him. It was a good luck charm his best friend (and only friend) had given him before he was exiled to keep him safe. He may hate the rest of his village, but he misses her a lot. He has no idea who stole it, but he aims to track them down some day.
