Rad Wave is a chill laid back type of pony. He spends most of his days on the beach, surfing or helping his wife, Sapphire Shell, run the shop. Only one thing can make this pony mad and that is when someone is hurting his wife in anyway.

Nothing exciting happened in Rad Waves's childhood, until he met the future love of his life. A group of kids where making fun of Sapphire Shell because she could't talk and pushed her in the sand and broke her chalkboard. Enraged that kids would bully somepony for that, he went and told the kids off and to leave her alone. Ever since the two became friends and eventually fell in love. Now Sapphire Shell has a successful business as a Jewerly store owner and Rad Wave helps out.
