Kabutowari

 Species: Giant Asian Hornet, Vespa mandarinia

 Size: 1.6 in., 4.06 cm

Kabutowari was a part of Immortal Queen Claw's hive before her flame scorched Giant's Valley and all the giant hornets within it. She regarded Samurai very highly and was shocked and enraged to find she planned on deserting Queen Claw. Although she appeared to have died during the fire, she managed to escape and became a loner.

In Samurai's story, Kabutowari is responsible for Samurai's disabilities (difficulty flying and hunting) and later leaves a note written in human language at her new hive threatening to destroy the valley again.
