Samurai

 Species: Giant Asian Hornet, Vespa mandarinia

 Size: 1.8 in., 4.6 cm.

Samurai is a giant Asian hornet and (one of) the last of her kind living in the now ironically named Giant's Valley. After fighting against Immortal Queen Claw in a war between three giant hornet hives, she lost all her sisters and became a loner. She was taken in by a hive of much smaller yellow-legged hornets under the condition that she would never use her past knowledge of human language/objects, including fire (she kept her name by lying about what it really meant).

During the events of her story, she discovers that one of her sisters, Kabutowari, is still alive and seeking revenge against her and her new hive.
