About
Although her "official" job title is a mortician, her duties extend far beyond those of the typical funeral director. Her clients receive not only the expert care and professionalism expected of someone in her line of work but once the funeral has been completed and the families disperse, the next step of her job begins - resurrecting her clients and assisting them in the process of beginning a new life.
Prior to death, Scarilyn's clients come to her to discuss what they want out of their 'next' life and it is her responsibility to ensure this for them. This typically includes all new legal documents ('birth' certificate, identification, etc.) as well as a complete overhaul of their appearance through both practical and magical means. Some consider her work unethical to downright blasphemous; while she understands where people are coming from with such accusations, she considers herself to be quite humanitarian, with a great love for people in general and the desire to make others happy.
At the end of the day, she just hopes that her clients are able to live their best lives, whether it's their first, second, third, etc.
She maintains a blog about her career and has amassed a considerable following, though not all of them are fans, and she often wonders how long it will take before someone tries to lead an angry mob to her front door.

Graphic design
Graphic design might be her passion but when your style choices include blingees and memes from the early 2000s, one might question if it's REALLY what you should be passionate about.
Crafting
Although not particularly good at any of it, Scarilyn loves to take on various craft projects. Crochet, origami, needlefelting, etc. The only one she's any good at currently is macrame.
Learning new languages
Fascinated with languages, Scarilyn devotes a fair amount of time to learning new ones. Her current favorite is Latin.
Necromancy
Scarilyn has spent most of her lives perfecting the art of resurrection. Although it's often viewed negatively, Scarilyn insists that she never brings anyone back that hasn't specifically asked her to and will never resurrect anyone for negative purposes.
