Orphéon the Wolfdog
Mascot for a fictional brand (streetwear, skate, workwear mostly). The brand is inspired by a mix of Brain Dead, Pleasures, Carhartt WIP, Stüssy, Stray Rats
- Portrayed as a mascot inworld for the brand. (or can be a LIVING GUY???)
- Was originally released in 2001. Has always been very y2k themed, but his general aesthetic can shift.
- Featured on skateboard decks, hoodies/shirts, posters, stickers, promo/ads, and also has toys, keychains, etc. Sometimes more unique merch like ashtrays, pillows, blankets
- A "wolfdog" but really just a vague canine-like creature. Usually doesn't have defining features other than big eyes and a toothy grin.
- Regarding the physical character - he's sort of like a pool toy thing? Can be opaque white, a heavy duty off-white, clear, or a metallic gray
- Portrayed in all kinds of fashion, or his physical appearance might change color, material, or covered in logos/stickers depending on brand collaborations.Â
- When not a pool toy material - made of glass, metal, silicone, fake gold, velvet, plush, leather, etc. Either the 'character', or the merch/toy.
- Has spikes built into the neck, or likes wearing a spikey collar. Collar can also be made of any fun material. Sometimes mismatching.
Overall - inspired by contemporary graphic design mockups but also y2k era design, sofubi / vinyl toys, mascots, street wear, weird logos / labels.
