a kind, gentle and excitable boy with a love for those around him.
a tallish, gentle and kind-eyed boy. Newt is a resident of (town name i havent decided yet), living with his younger sibling, Rye and boyfriend, paradox. he also technically lives with his parents but they are often out and at work. He is a clone of X, Ryes older brother, created after X died tragically. it took awhile, but soon Rye started to look at newt, not as the older brother X was, but as a new brother.
Newt is a kind boy, he will always put others, particualry those he cares about before himself. he is extremely empathetic and good at listening and responding to others problems. he does this even when struggling heavily with his own problems.
he is quite nervous and anxious around strangers, having carried some of X's social axiety past the cloning process, though it is not as strong as it was for X.

convincing paradox not to set stuff on fireNewt loves his boyfriend, he really does, though hes less sure what to think about his boyfriends arsonist tendencies.
he has become quite good at convincing paradox not to burn down things, especially government buildings, which are his favoruite.
bakinghe aquired this skill in his time hanging out with rye. he had come up with the idea to bake together to help them bond more.
this plan was a sucess, with them now baking together once a week. sometimes paradox tags along, though its mainly to steal batter and icing.
Newt does not have much history. he has memories of time as a child, though he knows now those memories do not belong to him. having been placed into existence at 13 years old, with someone elses memories helping guide his decisions, while also holding him back.
though that doesnt discredit the past two years of newts life. for roughly 3 months after creation, he lived life truly thinking he was X, as his parents treated him as their son, technically even better then they did X (ykno what they say, they only miss you when youre gone). What caused him to become suspicious was Rye's behavior. Rye who was extremely close to X, treated newt coldly, as though he was a stanger
eventually, after newt followed Rye to the graveyard, Rye lashed out, telling him the truth and showing him X's grave. This caused Newt to spiral, having an intense identity crisis. it was during this time that he met paradox. newt quite liked the other teen, for all his quirks and weird behaviors, and over time as they became better friends, opened up to paradox about everything, not knowing what to do
paradox helped Newt become his own person, Changing his name to Newt after his love for the small amphibian, aswell as changing up his wardobe and style. over time Rye started to come around aswell, as the two began to bond over things. with Rye no longer seeing their dead brother in the older boy, they started to move on and create a new relationship.

- him and rye mainly bake chocolate cupcakes, as its something they all enjoy.
- Newt was the one to ask paradox out, his crush having developed soon after he saw the softer side of paradox.
- when cloned, his parents decided not to change his biological sex to fit with both his and X's gender, worrying it would change too much.
who am i?
they are in love your honor. there is no angst in this relationship, they are happy. they are hopeless romantics for eachother (particularly Paradox for newt). newt loves taking them on picnic dates
siblings. their relationship has ups and downs, and though they both still hold some baggage surronding the shared truama around the cloning situation, theyre both super close now. newt loves listening to rye talk about things they are passionate about
