Deirdre Floinn

Deirdre's parents were involved in a game since before she was born. As a result, she was brought up in that environment, mainly starting out as a runner and doing small jobs along with her best friend Alexei Adderline. As she aged, the leaders of the gang began to entrust her to more serious tasks, until finally at age 16 she was apprenticed to Sterling "Snip" Siperian, the gang's best sniper and gunman. She quickly became very skilled with a gun, but everything changed when her parents tried to steal money from the gang. They were brutally murdered for their treason, and Deirdre, along with Alexei and Snip, feared that she was next.

Snip, who had grown to care deeply for his apprentice, helped her escape the gang with help from Alexei, and she hurried away from her town. As far as she was aware, Snip and Alexei and those who had helped them were caught and sentenced to death. To get back at the gang for killing her parents and her adoptive family, Deirdre began to raise dragons that she found in the wild. One day, as she was running from gang members that had seen her in a neighboring town, she came across a dragon with its leg stuck in a trap.

She promptly saved him, and in return he defended her from the gang members. She named him Lynuria, and they formed a deep bond. After a while, they went out together to have a lunch in the forest, when suddenly, Deirdre looked over and Lynuria, who she fondly referred to as "Ria", was half-dragon, half-human. As their bond deepened, Deirdre began to fall in love with Ria, and when she finally admitted her feelings, Ria transformed back into a human; his spell was broken.
