The Jewels of Raukar
Alexei became leader of the gang the Jewels at age 20 and reformed the crime ridden city to be a haven for other hybrids and outcasts like himself.

About
Alexei was found abandoned on the steps of a Raukar orphanage shortly after he was born. Due to the city's high crime rate and gang activity it was suspected that he was the bastard child of a prostitute and one of her clients though he never desired to find his hertiage. He grew up in the orphanage he was found at though he was never given proper treatment due to it's cruel owner. As soon as he became old enough, at the age of 10, he was sold by the orphanage's owner to one of the local gangs. Because of this he started out low on the gang's hiearachy but quickly gained status as he learned and mastered the skills that were often sought after. At the age of 19 his best friend's parents were murdered and she became the next target. So he, alongside higher ranking members such as Snip Siperian, helped the young girl escape the gang and flee. However on their return to Raukar the party of gangsters were caught by the Naugulian Army and immediately set to be executed, with the exception of Siperian who was hired on as the royal sniper due to his superior skills with a gun. Before he was set to be hanged, Alexei swallowed a silver pipe that then saved his life and kept the rope from crushing his windpipe. He played dead until his body was discarded and forgotten and he escaped back to Raukar. Along the way he gathered a hefty amount of money from various odd jobs and robberies and gathered enough to buy his own contract from the gang. But instead of leaving he stayrd on and climbed the ranks once more until he was set as heir to the power and riches. He then took over two years later when the previous boss mysteriously died in his sleep.

Mariuk
[ Boyfriend ]
Mariuk is Alexei's guardian angel. When Alexei was 23 Mari was sent down from the heavens to protect Alexei from being killed because he was determained to be an important person to the future of Raukar and all of Dorix. During his visit to prevent Alexei's murder he was shot, preventing him from returning to the heavens. During his time adjusting to his new life in Raukar he fell in love with Alexei and Alexei with him. They began a romantic relationship and work together as leaders of the Jewels of Raukar.
Deirdre Floinn
[ Adoptive Sister ]
Deirdre and Alexei grew up in the Jewels together and because of this they developed a sibiling-like bond. They often refer to each other as if they were actually slibings. When Deridre was a teenager her parents were killed for betraying the gang and Deirdre was run out of town because she was meant to have been killed along with them. Alexei helped her escape to safety, risking his own life to do so. He later reconnects with her and stays in contact with her regularlly.
Sterling "Snip" Siperian
[ Adoptive Brother ]
Snip joined the Jewels when he left home at 18. He met Deirdre and Alexei because of this and became a mentor to them. Much like with Deirdre, Snip became like an older brother figure to Alexei in the years leading up to Deirdre's escape. Later Alexei reconnects with Snip as well.
Nikolai Zykov
[ Ex-Lover ]
After Alexei took over the Jewels he became close with Nikolai, who was a prostitute under the Jewels' employment. A while later they began dating and Alexei paid off his contract to the whorehouse. However Nikolai was too proud to accept that and insisted on working to pay off his own contract. When Mariuk came into the picture and Alexei reconnected with Deirdre, Nikolai became more distant and irritable. It was soon revealed when he kidnapped Deirdre and tried to kill her that Nikolai had been the one to orchestate Deirdre's family's murder. He attempted to kill Mariuk and Alexei because they defended Deirdre and Alexei was forced to kill Nikolai to stop him.
Emery Helnik
[ Rival ]
One of the men involved in Deirdre's parents' murder was Emery's boyfriend. After Alexei had them killed Emery fled for fear of being targeted as well even though he hadn't been aware of what his boyfriend had done. He later returned to Raukar and began his own gang to get revenge on Alexei for killing his boyfriend.
