Mori is deeply cursed and decided that he shouldn't let that be something that defines him as something bad.
Preaching his beliefs that a cursed Spinxyn is not a bad Spinxyn, this quickly started to grow into it being about them being blessed in some form. And thus, Spinxyn from all over started adopting these sort of mindsets too, leading to Mori having a small following of his own.
Some believe it more, some less. But they all feel a sort of unity under the system Mori built.

That said, Mori himself isn't the best Spinxyn. While a curse doesn't make you instantly an outcast or bad, Mori still doesn't really set a good example of how to be good either.
At times, he can be highly manipulative, given he doesn't want to lose those he lifts up now. In a way he sees himself as a righteous and good cat, but only because he peddles lies to make others feel better and in turn, make himself feel better.
He also has no shame in treating those who are not cursed or troubled poorly, given he looks down on them.

Coming from a not so great household and a deeply troubled past and having to deal with being cursed almost all his life, including all the bullying and ridicule he recieved over it, he wants the world to be better.. he just chooses to be his worst in order to achieve it.
