Arlyth Willow's Links
My my, the forest folk finally have someone with a bit of common sense on the throne, and only after there is no longer a throne to sit upon. Everything is already lost to me, and if combining our efforts is the best way to exact vengeance on the humans, then what are we waiting for?
While our kingdoms have quite a tense history with each other, I have no qualms with uniting against the empire. I'll not let the conflicts of our ancestors sway me from acknowledging you as the best ally I can find. What say you?
Well, aren't you a precious little pet for the young king? It seems he's the one protecting you, so what use are you to him? You couldn't protect him from me if you tried.
I do not doubt his judgment, but I can't say I have the same amount of trust in you as he does. I admire Lord Caltharsis's patience, since he seems to tolerate your behavior so well... I on the other hand can't stand that manner of speech you take with him...
I suppose now is not the time for considering collaboration with the ocean folk to be beneath me. At least her skill set is beneficial.
Most people say not to trust the dark elves, but most people also said that the humans could be reasonably trusted instead.
My my, aren't you a curious one... I thought the forest folk were so against fiddling with such powers, yet I cannot believe they found a way to bring one such as this through their "natural" magics...
Oh, I wouldn't put that on the forest folk. I don't think they had anything to do with me getting here. I don't even know if I had anything to do with it either... but I don't worry about that.
There are times when I remember having Darca at my side... before everything was torn apart. Those are the times when I remember how alone I truly am...
The kingdom is shattered, and I haven't seen any trace of survivors since the attack... If I'm the only one left, then I will not rest until the humans suffer for what they have done. I will avenge you, my prince.
My father found some value in this cocky brute for his skills in battle, but that never meant anything to me. His presence was a displeasure even before Darcanas arrived, but at least they managed to... come to an understanding of some sort. I know Darca still laments over his fate, but those were the consequences of his choices.
I wouldn't have taken the prince to be one to settle for second best. But I suppose Canas knows how to fall in line and submit to authority. Perhaps the prince likes that kind of thing.
