Robert Mayako
Being the head of the guards in the Hotel isn't something that is difficult for Robert as he was once a soldier in war, with his military training and strategic mind- he is rather fit for the job. That of course does not leave out the part that he is rather grumpy, kind of snappy with others, it isn't that he hates you- well, he sorta can be rough- but he just doesn't see a point in being soft. He's constantly on the look out and has already come to terms with [being on the job will probably kill him] and he's made his peace with that. So whats tha point of being friendly... then again he's kind of grown a heart for his subordinates, whoops.
Personality.
STRONGWILLED / AIMLESSBlunt and rough around the edges, when it comes time to get down to buisness- or even just starting and ending the day- Robert has a one way track of getting through and getting it done. He isn't the type to sit down or give up so easily, even when he hits a point where he's just punching the wall- stubbornly he won't give until he's tried everything. However- without any schedule or given purpose- Robert is lost. He doesn't have any passions anymore, he can't conform to the likes of the current day because he's been so out of it- the present day is so alien to him. It's almost like he's stuck in a different time period and is honestly just so lost.

enneagramIn a past life, Robert wasn't that much different. Blunt, not afraid to speak his mind, a little bit dense, the only thing that was different was that he still had his great desire to achieve his dreams of creating planes. He once wished to be a pilot, but because of his poor eyesight and color blindness- that kind of killed it. But he had his eyes set on creating those beautiful machines. He was social, outgoing- he got picked on a little but his brother usually was there defending him and- kind of got in trouble because of it for the most part- but Robert was once ambitious.

Past .
Growing up in a rather normal household with loving parents and an older brother, him and his older sibling were relatively close. Up until college, his life was on the right track- Robert was studying to become an engineer, however in his college plan- studying abroad for a bit ended up being an awful decision as he was incidentally drafted. Not being a citizen of the country, and not exactly having a way out as he was pretty much arrested for his defiance against the authorities, for an unknown window of time- Robert was a soldier in a war that he did not want to be apart of. Fighting on the wrong side. This would come to scar him greatly and cause him to feel great guilt, it especially does not help in the later experiments he would be involved with.
Hotel life .
Now residing within the Hotel, where he serves as a guard under an organization that works in the name of protecting and promoting the lives of dolls. In a sense- he feels as if this is a second chance and a way to relinquish himself of the lives he's taken, prove that he's not so bad. Robert doesn't make an effort for people to like him, he isn't going to lie to someone just to please them- he can speak his mind and what he thinks is right, his opinion- even if its kind of mean. Like- [Boss is shitty in how he treats his employees, but Robert thinks he's a better leader than the guy he had before, so long as he keeps his head down and follows instructions he has no problem with Boss. Theres that creep who watches the elevator, who needs to grow a backbone, smiling creep...] and so on. Robert doesn't care if he makes a scene on the job, if people thinks he's mean, if he's kind of an asshole, he's here to work, thats it.
First life .
Would it be funny to say that- this isn't his first go at life. :) a little birdie told me that Robert had a little accident before the hotel and went to sleep for a little. But don't worry! He made a great new friend who helped him wake up, remember who he was, and helped him realize his mistakes and made him into a beeeeetter person!

Rather gruff, his demeanor has been able to allow him to get by. His sheer determination can be honest to god stupid at times, but its what gets him by.
ability
Due to his experience as a soldier, and tactical senses, he preforms very well in a situation that involves combat. Whether it be hand to hand fighting or involving knives. He would just prefer to [not use guns or explosives.]
weakness
Having a crippling fear of doctors, Robert is full of fear and will act irrationally at any given time when around medical practitioners, even when greatly injured. He would rather die than trust his life with someone else.
Trivia .
- Has had a problem with sleep walking since he was little.
- Interested in planes, at some point he wanted to be a pilot but that changed into becoming an engineer. Which never happened.
- He is GREAT at knife throwing.
- Can speak a little Russian.
- He has a poor memory when it comes to his past or even in present day as often times his panic attacks cause him to- phase out. He acts like nothing's happened since he doesn't remember it.
- While he can be kind of bright sometimes, he is also very oblivious. Headass
Design notes .
- Robert is about mmmm 5'8 naturally, however his boots make him 5'10, he likes to feel tall- leave him alone.
- When he was younger he had bad eyes and wore glasses, however these days he doesn't have that problem anymore, the goggles aren't for anything in particular- he just likes wearing them because they kind of remind him of the goggles that pilots wear, heheh, nerd.
- Oh right, those really aren't his eyes, the purple lenses sort of take away the fact that his eyes are purple. They used to be black/dark brown.
- He has a y-shaped autopsy scar.
