Dahlia Fortune's Links
Ah, my boss is truly the only sane member of the High Clergy. Between the freaks he's forced to commune with and his duties, I can hardly blame him for throwing feasts and parties so often - It's good for publicity too. He's a very great man, that Altruis, I won't allow anyone to speak poorly of him~
My assistant, secretary, the only person I feel truly understands me within the organization and out. She is kind, smart, and helpful - nobody soothes my troubled mind as well as she does.
Oh, the barmaid at Lotus Bay? Of course I come to her for my public work projects, the old prudes within the Church would faint if I so much as showed ankle. *Sigh*
She seems honoured to paint my portraits and such anyhow, she's a fine enough commoner. Feel bad calling her that, though. Anyways.
Ah! Dahlia! She's- uh, the one that most supports my artistic endeavors! She's a regular, and, well, I'm not one to deny her!!! Plus she's, uh, pretty, and. Goodness.
The Archpriest recognizes my talents and skill, I have him to thank for a lot of the position and power I have now. Altruis has a high opinion of him, buuut if he gave Raker and Mercury the same influence I have, the old ram must be easy to impress. Disappointing.
Ms. Fortune is one of my best weapons in the field of public relations. Her beauty and manipulative charm will convince many dimwitted fools to join the Church and fight for our cause... and her relentless brutality towards Cursebearers will make them think twice about crossing the Church and ruining my vision for a perfect world.
Harlot... she and her bewitching charms won't fool me. She may be drop dead gorgeous but I know she's no fun, trying to make Altruis avoid my nightly parties and tries to keep him sober. Where's the fun in that?
Minerva... I'm just happy to have another girl in the High Clergy to talk to during meetings. Besides, who are my other choices? The giant crocodile and mad doctor? She's fun, maybe she can give me a tour of Amadeus' nature sanctuary... I have things I want to see there~
Alistair knows how to pick his friends, hah! Hilarious, I'm glad to have someone to vent to during my breaks, and I get to hear about what nightmares he's dealing with, it's fun what we have. I should really invite him to Lotus Bay sometime, maybe we could do that fencing thing he always talks about.
My go-to source for gossip in the Church, I feel like I could tell Dahlia any secrets I have though. If Altruis can trust her, so do I. She should take some time out of her schedule to fence with me, it'd be fun!
He may have the most raw power when it comes to Faith Magic out of everyone else, but he's sorely lacking the ability to heal, and it's all just blinding light and crackles with him. Personally, I think I could outmatch him if given the chance, knock him down a peg~ Especially with how he treats Altruis.
Heh... Dahlia, everyone's fallen for her looks and guile but not me. Not me! When I get my way, her and her little boyfriend are gonna be blasted off the face of the map.
He makes my job a living nightmare... The things he does to people makes my skin crawl, and I have to somehow make what he does go away in the eyes of the public? No amount of tasteful portraits can brainwash that terror out of people.
Creep... I don't care if his methods are ever useful, we have Faith Magic for that. If he offers me anything, it's going straight to the trash. Why can't my coworkers be normal!
The lovely Ms. Fortune, I always know just the skincare beauty routine she needs… some lead-filled makeup, spider silk and mellified man for a cream. Strange how my gift baskets for her wind up in the garbage though.
Altruis' girlfriend it looks like... she's a very kind gal. Offers to braid my hair only if I take a shower first. She reminds me of my wife, very lovely and sweet but fierce too.
