Reel

Reel strives to be a monitor-courier hybrid, but she needs to prove herself before she gets even accepted as a monitor assistant. She is eager to find someone to take her as their apprentice and start her training, but for now she's focusing on being the most efficient courier she can be to meet as many different and potential people as possible. She is very good at her job, but between assignments is a completely different story, and the reason why she hasn't been accepted by a monitor yet. Reel is infamous for getting into trouble and associating with unverified and exiled individuals, and without the right connections, she is never taken seriously by the monitors who would otherwise take her under their wings.

Growing up always feeling like she was missing a piece of a puzzle for her story, Reel feels that everyone deserves an ear and a chance, and for as long as they treat her right, there must be good in their heart somewhere. This gets her into deep trouble when she ends up ignoring warning signs because of this, but her brother, Demo, thankfully watches out for her and helps her out of tough situations.

Just when it starts to seem like nothing will ever change, Reel is approached by a Median noble under the handle of the Rock Star, the estranged half-brother of the famous Radio Star, who promises her an interesting journey where she would make all the connections she's been seeking. She knows that her brother, Demo, is concerned by this and allows him to come with her to assure him it's fine, but she is very annoyed at not being trusted by her brother who is already well-established in Media ranks.
