Personality.
An incredibly complex character, he poseses a deep faith and love for the lordd. While at the same time a skilled warrior with a love for cultures that warriors would enjoy themselves. A man of the mask he recieved a classical education and he is quite intelligent assistant to those in need. Though he is incredibly ruthless towards those he deems to require the mercy of death to be released from their prison of flesh. He portrays himself as an absolute zealot with no middle ground. Though he will often play facades even if he may be on of the mask he will drag people on although it would be small antics such as keeping silent of the fact he cannot see. Often this will lead his friends or foe to find out this in battle, which can be the worse or bes times. One possibility is that he is a consummate liar, telling whoever he's siding with what they want to hear, as they wouldn't assume a man of the mask to lie.
As the new world follows the man of the cloth, the old world follows the tradition of men of mask.
Trivia.
- Enhanced Balance: Shovelguys sense of balance is almost superhuman, giving him an excellent equilibrium, coordination and dexterity.
- Enhanced Agility: Thanks to his sense his agility is even that of the greatest athletes. He can traverse the city with speed and grace, by flipping, jumping, and swinging with his shovel He can dodge bullet fire, even at near point blank range, and can completely outmaneuver most enemies, even easily dodging almost most supernatural moves.
- Enhanced Reflexes: He can instinctively react to oncoming blows nearly effortlessly with the use of his other senses, such as avoiding attacks with a sharp weapon at close quarters by hearing the noise of its approach, and even dodging bullets fired at close range.
- Enhanced Hearing: Akin to echolocation he is able to detect his enviroment through echos, by actively listening andd creating sounds. He can interpret sound waves reflected by objectts, accurately identifying their location and size. He can also detect lies.

History.
The clan of Levohs have formed from a long line of monster slayers, whereas one would recall it as a work of god; returning those who do not belong to this land back to their own. Through the usage of blessing the holy light to their own bodies, they are able to take on the summoning of the nine; a creature chosen from each of the nine to run through their veins. Make them stronger, allow them to do what man cannot do. Evolve. Such teachings were passed on through generations and generations. It was ideal that such a house held the ability to mutate their own in the act of their god. Much as time had passed so had the teachings of their time, the act grew further and further away from their god and closer to the means to and end of the monsters they slew. No one questioned it, even how heinous it had gotten through the years. This pact had been formed once after the falling of their own, to slay an old tale of the past. The black wolf The path of Evolution; this was a trial that ended in the killing of a werewolf. Something that resembled a creature with an uncontrollable temper that would always return to it's habits. No matter how hard it tried to be human. From there it grew from the trial of the wolf, to the trial of the bat, goat and such the house grew further from their origin. Once the monsters started to diminish the so-called ‘Praetorians’ drew the name ‘Envoy’ to form a more diplomatic control over the people they once protected from the monsters. Eventually they strayed from their just past over the years, holding the power over the people through the name ‘Envoy’ they grew in military power. Their armies formed strong with numbers, and their rituals closed to only those higher amongst the ranks. Through time, they became what is known as the Protectorates.
A justice to be held accountable for protecting those they deem innocent or worthy of their protection; the Galactic militia for the worlds, tasked with law enforcement, galactic security and military operations. The origin of this Galactic military branch had been long forgotten through the years through hidden secrets, although it was once rumored the Protectorate’s roots run from a more honorable past. The unified human states had formed this organization in 1945 after World War VII, which gradually evolved its mandate, stripping national governments of their prominence on the world stage to the point where it held sovereignty over all humanity.
All men's souls are immortal. But the Souls of the righteous are immortal and Divine.
