Peisis is a being that exists in and around the edges of black holes. It does not interact with humans on its own. Parts of them can only be seen in peripheral vision. They appear before some space-traveling humans/creatures, but only those that are not searching for them. Their age and body is timeless, the crabs coexist with their host
