ABOUT:

Todd is a naive boy who is tricked into signing a contract with a mysterious demon known only as the Station Master. In doing so he is employed to work on the Eidolon, a ghostly train that travels to other worlds, and uses the ten Ghosts of Death in order to do the Station Master's bidding. The ghosts can bind to Todd, granting many powers such as strength, endurance, agility, and immortality, and others that vary for each ghost. While powerful and unable to be killed when "ghost bound", Todd is limited by his inexperience and is often crippled by pain when wounded. In this state, he has the "ears", tail, and arms of the specific ghost, yellow glowing eyes, and sometimes other features such as sharp teeth or scars. Some examples of Todd when ghost bound are in both his and the ghost's image references. 

On one of his journeys to another world, Todd meets the angel Avis. Avis eventually joins Todd on the Eidolon, and they quickly become best friends as they adventure together (or maybe even something more). Avis is very dear to Todd, as he helps him deal with his fears and the sadness of losing his family.
