Enver

Enver is said to be the most humanlike of the dragons of Gallobrin Stables, and with good reason--he once was human. Though stripped of his former vesture, Enver has retained his intellect and clarity, defying a fate that so many other once-humans in the stable have fallen to.

As a result of retaining a stunning portion of his humanity, Enver possesses the ability to communicate verbally. In order to silence him and obscure any evidence of transforming his staff, Enver’s master fixed an enchanted bell in the entryway of the stable. This bell is steeped in a stubborn spell that deafens the ears of all who enter, keeping them from comprehending the speech of mythical beings. Enver's only hope is that, one day, someone who is resistant to magic will cross the stable's threshold.
