Background
For Empion, urge and action are often indistinguishable, resulting in him bowing to the demands of instinct rather than rationality. This is, of course, a side effect of the curse that stripped away his humanity and sense of self. Before his unfortunate transformation, Empion was a considerate and dutiful human who cherished the comfort and needs of others—perhaps detrimentally so. He was obedient and loyal to a painstaking degree, traits that have persisted into his current life when all others have been robbed away from him.
