Likes
- not being around anyone, at all
- juggling ( they do it absentmindedly when they're bored - does a lot of cool tricks and things with his hand w/o noticing it for the most part. due to this he probably has a fidget spinner or toys that he also plays with absentmindedly. also has a rubiks cube. edit from 2020 aria but he stims he might have adhd or be autistic bc once again i am projecting onto my ocs )
- decorating
- mugs ( he likes to collect pretty ones. this also extends to like pottery and vases n stuff )
Dislikes
- cooking ( due to having a fear of burning themselves ) so they usually eat out. and by eat out, i mean order take-out at a place he likes beforehand and dash out of there as soon as the food is done. ( of course, he still pays. )
- fish
- plastic dolls. most dolls, actually ( except plushies which he sometimes collects and keeps, unless they're in very bad condition )
- eye contact
- blood or veins (kinda squeamish)
- halloween ( due to fear of the things they sell and how creepy they are, and also because children will ring on his doorbell a lot assuming it's a haunted house )
Extra
- has anxiety, probably asd or adhd, and possibly ocd. although he is not diagnosed due to what is probably a general fear of people ( and doctors ), so nothings confirmed but he kind of always assumed he had something like this. also because Once Again im projecting. likely has some sort of cluster c personality disorder
- his blood is purple ( and by extension, his blush ). this is also the color of his venom, but his venom isn't the exact color; it's more see-through and more of a lavender. this is also why his skintone is kind of weird and super desaturated. he's a bug with purple blood so his skintone is kind of unnatural.
- his eyes are a bright orange, and this is somewhat uncommon for insects. Most of them just have black eyes, no eyes, or dark-colored eyes. Although, it looks like a pale orange when he's wearing his glasses.
- his fingernails are almost like claws. they're pretty sharp. he also has a tendency to pick or chew on his nails though
- despite having anxiety he isn't afraid of the dark ( or bugs, but considering he's one himself it makes sense ). what he is afraid of, though, is hospitals, doctors, dentists, needles - most medical things, actually - social interaction, heights, blood / fights, etc etc. he has a LOT of fears and anxieties.
- remember when I said he collects plushies? He also took up sewing as a hobby when he was younger, and makes a lot of crafts himself in his free time. mainly plushies, pillows, blankets, sweaters, etc. he is really good at it, and it's something he can put a lot of focus into while feeling good at the same time. kind of uses this as a distraction as well if he isn't feeling good.

Arsenic is a scorpion in disguise, his home hidden away from society. He's constantly scared and on-edge, but tries his hardest to keep a cool and reserved look on his face in order to not look like a mess. ( This usually doesn't work. )
He was abandoned at a young age by his parents due to an incoming threat, so he was left to fend for himself. He found an abandoned house and had to make do. A lot of his skills were self-taught, although he was never taught social skills, which doesn't help his anxiety. Also due to the fact he has a large fear of abandonment due to obvious reasons so his mindset is just "If I don't have friends, I can't be abandoned".
Due to this, he never really liked people and is always scared with interacting with others. He's usually constantly thinking about the fact that people may think badly of him behind his back or somesuch.
