Bellyrub is a Siberian dire cat, found by a mercenary guild as a kitten and given to Tau to raise, a human who refers to her as his daughter. She's hit the height of his waist, and still has plenty of growing to do! She'll likely be ten before reaching her full size and officially being out of kittenhood, her ancestors having had their genes edited to live longer, grow slower, and be a bit more intelligent. Like most modern non-feral cats, she speaks via a collar that reads her thoughts and spits out broken sentences, and translates human speech into raw concepts that are easier for her to understand.

Bellyrub is very excitable and energetic, and loves to play and involve herself in whatever Tau's doing.

Notes

• Cats tend to give themselves names after their favorite things. Her favorite thing is, of course, bellyrubs.
• Besides all the tampering that went into making dire cats in the first place, Bellyrub's only biomods are low gravity and radiation resistance.
