Cormorantbrair

A respected elder of Mountainclan due to her past, Cormorantbrair is a soft spoken and morose feline. She spends all her time in the elders den, barely leaving at all. She is often visited by her daughter Sootbrair and Caramelbellys kits, Sunkit and Cloverkit. It has been noticed by many in the clan that whenever Sootbrair visits Cormorantbrair that the elderly feline seems more down hearted then usual.

Cormorantbrair was born a single kit to two MountainClan warriors and trained hard to become a warrior herself. She quickly made a reputation for herself in the clan as an outspoken molly who was kind to all members of the clan. Soon after her warrior ceremony she developed feelings for her childhood friend Smokewhisper. Depite the long wait, Cormorant eventually decided to confess to Smokewhisper but they beat her to the punch, confessing thier feelings to her. The two became mates and decided to take things slow. After a few moons of dating the two had a talk about kits.

Not long after that talk, Cormorant was suddenly named deputy after the sudden death of the previous one. With the sudden change she decided to postpone having kits until she was comfortable in her position. Many moons later she fell pregnant with her first litter, having her position temporarily taken over by another warrior. She eventually gave birth to Sootkit and as soon as Sootkit was weened Cormorant proceeded with her duties as deputy.

Cormorant served many moons as deputy until an unfortanate near death experience left her with amnesia. After many moons of recovering in the medics den, it was decided that Cormorant would retire early due to the side effects of the injuries she sustained. She still suffers from headaches these days and has yet to recover any of her memories.
