Sunsting

Born to two mountainclan warriors along with his sister Flashfire, Sunsting grew to be a well respected warrior of the clan. As a kit he quickly befriended Pheasantstorm (Pheasantkit at the time) and the two quickly became best friends. As Sunsting started his apprenticeship under Thunderstep, he quickly bacame a cat to look out for due to his quickly growing skills. It was during one of his sparring sessions with Pheasant that Batpaw approached the two and quickly became friends with them.

A moon later Batpaw was suddenly lost in a cave in while on a patrol Sunpaw was also assigned to. This patrol was life changing for Sunpaw as he lost a friend he was close with and he began fearing the loss of the others he held dear. He became engrossed with training, working on his speed and sparring skills, taking spots on cave patrols that others dreaded, and slowly drifting away from Pheasantpaw. By the time the two became warriors, they no longer talked or spent as much time together as they used to.

As a warrior, Sunsting continued to train and eventually got himself an apprentice to train, Leechpaw. He spent a lot of time training Leechpaw and was pleased to see she was eager to learn more. When Leechs parents suddenly died, and Sunsting lost his mentor, the two were there to comfort eachother. When Leechpaws best friend Shadowpaw was also there to comfort the molly, Sunsting began to miss his relationship with Pheasantstorm. He quickly got back in touch with the tom and the two began training their apprentices together and rebuilding their lost relationship. Once the twos apprentices were promoted to warriors, Sunsting began to aim for a dream he had developed due to his father like relationship to Leechskip, creating a family of his own.

It was pure chance that Sunsting found a surrogate for his kits, one who wasnt a part of MountainClan and one he knew well. He kept the kits other father a secret per request and gave birth two daughters, Brindlekit and Bramblingkit. He promised the two a life full of loving relationships. A moon later he was joined in the nursery by Pheasantstorm, who had adopted two kits the two found while taking a walk near the camp to talk. The two would end up raising their kits together.

Just a moon after his kits were apprenticed, Sunsting is caught in a cave in while on a patrol with the deputy at the time, Cormorantbrair, his sister, Flashfire, and her apprentice, Caramelpaw. Seperated from the group due to the commotion, the tom quickly finds and Cormorantbrair being attacked by another cat. He rushes in to save her, driving the attacker away and throwing Cormorant away from falling rocks that end up crushing and killing him.
