Gilbert is a Knight of the Ordo Favonius and watchmaker. Since childhood he liked to collect various watch movements with his friend. He is a very warm and good-natured person and people of the Mondstadt loves him. Gilbert is a man of valor and loyalty β for hiw own principles and to the people around him.

- Gilbert is very weak to dogs. It's hard for him to resist petting any dog he comes across.
- Many children in Mondstadt admire him and you can often see how a small group of children walk beside him and ask questions and laugh.
- As a child, he had a friend from Fontaine named Marco. They are made and decorated watches together. After his death Gilbert still keeps and maintains the mechanism in the watches they created together.
- His mother is from Fontaine and his father is from Mondstadt. Gilbert lived all his life in Mondstadt, but often visited Fontaine. It was there that he first met Marco.
- He likes to take various notes about how things change over time. For example, he makes sketches of how new flowers grow in his home. Or how after a while pigeons get new feathers.
