It has been a stressful day for Tiffany Goldman. She took her boys out for lunch and found herself struggling to keep them under control— And now, as they are arriving home, Tiffany finds herself needing a break to relax and pray to her god about her doubts as a mother.
Tiffany Goldman has had a very stressful day; after somehow accidentally finding herself and her sons at an illegal auction of black-market goods, she is unable to sleep.... And, sadly, it seems her son is feeling much the same. But at least they can comfort each other.
After a night of caring for her young son with sensory issues, Tiffany finds herself exhausted. Knowing that her boy must be feeling even worse than she is, she decides to keep him and his brother home from kindergarten for the day so they can all rest and recharge. Soon, however, she finds herself in a predicament as her boys start asking questions about the more conventional family dynamics they always see on television— And Tiffany has to think of an age-appropriate lie to explain to her boys why they don’t have a father.

Scarecrow had spent the day preparing to assassinate a demon. She had received an offer she couldn’t refuse; her services in return for information on where her stolen selkie cloak could be. During this planning, however, she came across her acquaintance, Tiffany, and seeing how stressed the woman was she decided to escort her home. Finding themselves alone together, the two women decide to discuss their situations— And their children. And in doing so they find themselves forging a deep, maternal connect connection.
