Kenneth "Spike" Portman

Spike is the son of large business owners, who are quite ruthless in the field. They pressured Spike into owning the business when they retire or pass, but he doesn't want to. His parents also forced him to attend university for business, when he wanted to pursue acting, which causes a lot of resentment towards his family. They never see eye-to-eye and it causes a lot of hostility in the household. Spike wants to pursue his dreams, but his parents had other plans. 

When Spike meets Shawn, who is the son of another couple of CEO parents, he is immediately smitten. Shawn is one that doesn't take kindly to those who are loud and over the top, which is exactly what Spike is, but he doesn't give up. Soon, the boys are sneaking around together. They knew if their parents ever found out, that they'd be disowned. The boys spend their days appeasing their parents as much as possible, and then at night they are much different. Though, this doesn't last. One night when Spike was sneaking out to go see Shawn, he was caught by his mother. While trying to lie, Shawn spoke up from below his window and revealed the truth. 

Their parents quickly kicked them out. They had nowhere to go other than Amber's home, who had accepting and loving parents. The boys lived with them for some time before Spike realized he was in love with Amber and Shawn at the same time. He felt terrible, feeling as if he was wrong for loving someone else as well as Shawn. When he brought it up to Shawn, he agreed. They both had feelings for the caring girl who took them in. It took some time, but the three ended up together. They now live happily while they live with Amber's parents. 

Though, at some point Spike's parents try to get him back. He is their only heir, but he refuses. Amber's parents threaten to call the cops on them for trespassing on their land. After, they are never seen in his life again.
