Slone Natalie is a genius medical engineer, one of the best the octarians ever had. 

Her story starts as a troubled youth, having problems focusing in school but still being a wonderfully intuitive and genius thinker/tinkerer.

Her father however saw issue with her waning attention, and at the age of 14 he sent her to Kamabo to have her attention issues "fixed" via sanitisation. 

Slone awoke anew, horrified with how she looked but her urge to study and succeed took over. Any friends she may have had she drifted away from in her pursuit of knowledge, culminating in her becoming a medical engineer. 

She however soon began to wane once again, as she didn't have anything else to pursue. She looked at herself and realised she had nobody to talk to or even be with. Her father was too busy reaping the profits of her pursuit and her friends had grown away, most forgetting she even existed. 

Slone grew tired of this life and knew there was something more. During one of her father's parties, she ran off from home and headed for the tunnels leading to the surface. 

Breaking through the door and looking into the glistening sunlight, she was mesmerised with the world she saw around her. Fields of grass stretched for miles, clouds sparsely spread through the sky and the wind blowing calmly through her hair. 

She made her way through the fields until happening upon a city, specifically Inkopolis. She walked and walked throughout, absorbing the culture and world around her. Fashion, battles for fun, the food too, it was all amazing to her. 

That is until she found herself in a dead end with a group of thugs and delinquents, 4 to be exact. Her few belongings snatched, specifically her laptop, Octoshot and stress toy, the thugs grew angered that she only had so few things to provide to them. 

One moved forward, raising their baseball bat to take a swing at Slone. 

What happened next was nothing short of a miracle as a Oni mask wearing menace dropped from above the fella upon him and stripped him of his bat. BAM! A strike to the other's face, sending him hurtling into the brick wall. Another sneaks up behind the stranger with a knife, but the vigilante saw the attack coming from lightyears away as he spins around and grabs the wrist of the knife wielding delinquent. They slammed them into the other wall and stared at the last one, shivering, holding slone's belongings in their hands. 

The vigilante pointed the bat at them and instructed them to place the belongings and run, or face the truest of their rage. The thug took heed of the vigilante's instructions and placed them on the ground, then scampered away. 

The vigilante turns to Slone and offers their hand to her. Slone reaches out and grabs it, only to be shocked at the strength of the fellow as he pulled her up to her feet. He revealed himself to be Owen Tamashini. He describes himself as a travelling Oni in search of others to join his "team" which he dubbed "The Pixel Pirates". 

Slone with her heart still racing, agreed to join and became the team's second in command, alongside their Skirmisher. 

The two got to know each other and became very close friends, eventually leading their pursuit of finding others to join their team into splatsville where they remain today.

As a part time job, Slone works at the company Itsukinc as a medical engineer and is acquaintances with an employee there, Mai. They both help to take care of a mutual friend of theirs, Lumi.

Miscellaneous Information:

- Slone is very much obsessed with her devices and spends most of her spare time working away at her computer. This means she doesn't have much time for cooking, so opts for quick meals such as instant noodles, store-bought sandwiches and candies. 

-Owen makes sure to pull her out of her room and asks her to join him in his training, which she begrudgingly agrees to. The two work out together and afterwards Owen bakes and cooks her meals that are significantly healthier than what she usually eats. 

-Slone is also a bit of a social recluse, though in recent times she's much more open because of Owen's help. 

-If you get her started on a discussion about her interests, you'll never hear the end of it. Slone is passionate about her interests, and those have expanded from just her medical engineering degree to things like fashion, tableturf and most importantly, her obsession with the music artist Coral Starlet and the girl band Tunaversal

-She's still a bit self conscious about her body and how she presents, often electing to wear very baggy clothing that hides her body despite Owen's encouragement. When she meets the right people though, she'll start to come out of her shell and embrace her true self.
