Hana

A foolish girl who thinks nothing about others , nicknamed Hana-chi* due to her distant closed off nature she is well known for her admiration towards her sister. Carelessly following around her older sister dismissing any destruction she causes along the way. (*The japanese name "Achi" means "distant,remote")

This is the present time that the story takes place, therefore no backstory will be provided. Hana is an idol trainee for the next upcoming duo jpop group with her older sister. Clouded by an ideal life hallucination she has resorted to an easier path of living by copying her older sister. By observing her older sister's nature she has a rough replica personality she uses to act around others. She thought it was the only way she could be liked by others, although her friends have already caught on to the flaws in her current persona worrying about her mental health. Only her sister was aware of her real interests, hobbies, personality.

Everything was working out for Hana, until the accident occured. It happened afterschool when they were walking home, Miyuna had something important to tell Hana but changed her mind. She reverted back to her chipper attitude as they crossed the street. It was only until it was too late that they noticed a truck had gone beyond control speeding towards Miyuna who still had not crossed the street entirely. It all happened so quickly that Hana was speechless unable to move or do anything. Miyuna had been hit by the truck and now layed almost lifelessly on the street in front of her.

Before Hana could process everything she fainted. She woke up later being evacuated from the scene as it was now in flames like a true disaster. Apparently, the residents of the neighborhood called an ambulance to the scene. The next day Hana went to go visit Miyuna, distressed not knowing what she would do without her. But when Hana opened the door to Miyuna's hospital room she was not welcomed with open arms. Her older sister sat up quietly in bed deep in thought unphased by the door crashing open. The room had an unsettling atmosphere as Miyuna turned to face Hana. Miyuna spoke first breaking the silence and empty stares. She spoke of her great feelings of anguish and was apologetic to the truck driver, the residents and her carelessness. Hana was confused, her sister was not the reason for the accident it was all the truck driver's fault! This statement angered Miyuna she lashed out at Hana expressing her deepest regrets all these years and her hatred towards Hana. Miyuna was constantly acting as if she were okay with Hana copying her but she couldn't hide this feeling anymore. It was unbearable to hold in the loathing anger towards her younger sister. The once perfect older sister image Hana had envisioned was shattering.
