Summary

Described by Mala as, "A lion who just appeared one day." Kuanga was a male lion in a pride with her and her sisters. Despite loving all of his lionesses, he favored Mala most and would often attempt to comfort her when they lost their cubs- not realizing Mala was growing resentful towards him as time passed. Upon hearing about Mala's affair and betrayal, he was heartbroken. He was willing to overlook what she did in exchange of abandoning or killing the cubs she conceived with her affair partner, but Deka managed to convince him to exile her instead.

Kuanga is a large male African lion with pale colored fur and a white mane and tail tip due to being leucistic. He has a large hanging belly and blue eyes. He has a scar on his nose and left shoulder inflicted by Chenzira.
