— [ widow ] for her reserved and sneaky beheaviour, as well as her lightweight steps
— not looking
Probably one of the more intimidating cats you'll ever encounter. Mourningwidow doesn't enjoy social interactions and much prefers to sit and judge you with their sister. In fact, out of the whole colony, she just tolerates her siblings, few friends and leader. Just. Whatever you need, tell her and get out.
Truth be told, she wasn't originally the group's healer. In fact, there was no plan to become one since her apprenticeship. However, there was an urgent call for one after the previous cat passed away, so Mourningwidow was 'selected' as the replacement. She's neither happy or upset about the role change.
Mourningwidow is a tall white cat with dark points and pink-hued eyes with long check fur.
She has a spider-like marking on her back and web-like pattern in her ears. Their tail is long, ending with a poof that resembles a sad wilting flower. Inside her long eyelashes is a white pupil that is almost reminiscent of a butterfly.
- butterfly pupils optional but highly preferred
- some 'moles' along body; symmetrical
- cobweb pattern in ears
- end of tail resembles a flower (but it can be drawn like a lion's tail thing)
- flesh is 'black', based off the black mamba
Mourningwidow is one of the most pestimistic cats out there. To the everyday being, she does not take joking around too lightly, especially inside the Healer’s Nest which doubles as her little home.
They are openly a slow-moving cat, both verbally and physically. She talks with THE most minimal effort (often dropping the 'I' and 'it/s') and much prefers to get straight to the point, leading to situations where she appears uncaring and apathetic.
Though, she is not constantly cynical. Out of all the cats, they are the most content with their sister. After Chrysaliscry, she is good friends with Sunnyfawn. And then the leader, Lantana, but barely.
She is more open about personal feelings but it is nothing extremely different compared to her usual unfiltered ramblings.
The she-cat is a hypocrite at best.
Of course, the "go die" jokes at her sister are never from the heart. However, not a season goes by without Mourningwidow thinking about if she'll ever cry when her family dies.
