Full name: Corbinian Regulus Cornelius Philip James Manchester Eadred Sweyn Hazelcroft II

Born in the Backstreets of District 23, Corbinian descended from a long line of master chefs specialized in cannibal dishes. He grew up his entire life believing that human flesh is the pinnacle of all meats. However, he was also a contrarian. Because dishes utilizing human meat were so popular where he lived, he wanted to show the chefs of his district and his family that he could create a better dish that didn't require human. He was mocked for having such a dream, but that didn't stop him from trying. When he was finally old enough to start his own restaurant, the business flopped. Corbinian didn't understand if this was because people hated his cooking, or if his business skills just sucked. Either way, he was in debt, and he needed to pay his taxes soon before a Claw paid him a visit. That was when he received a letter from the new L Corp offering him a job at their main branch.

Corbinian has an inferiority complex due to the way he was treated during his childhood. He feels as though people are constantly judging his abilities. Because of this, he actively seeks out people with skills he perceives as inferior to his under the guise of wanting to help them, and while he genuinely does, watching their struggles makes him feel better about himself. It's validation that he has honed his craft despite his failed restaurant.

He is good and consoling others and enjoys making people feel better, even if only temporarily. One of his core beliefs is that food is meant to bring joy. If people can forget about their struggles for even a moment when having his cooking, then he considers that a success. After that, he only wants payment in compliments.
