Download is a monitor assistant in Eastern Media. While given the option to pursue a full monitor position, they turned it down. Enjoying the perks they had, and not wanting to bother with working harder then what they had. They work under Treasury and Scanner to watch over Eastern Media, and of course Debt, Scanner's son. They don't mind their job, Enjoying who they work with, and the friends they made along the way.

Envy has always been jealous of those who had more then them, while they could've worked harder they couldn't find it in themselves to do so. They had a hard enough time operating the machinery in the monitor district, they doubted they could do more as a full-fledged monitor rather then an assistant because of this. They felt jealous of those they saw having an easier time then them, cats being the main source of that envy. It's one of the reasons they grew so close to Greed, feeling a kinship with another non-cat in the same position as them.
After magic had become legal, Envy considered shapeshifting into a cat to give what they saw as an easier time. Only to be dissuaded by their partners, learning to find worth in their form as it was. It took awhile for them to see themselves as equal as those around them, but with their partners supporting them- and with them no longer having to worry about execution for possession of magic. They found themselves growing less envious of those around them.
