base info

shes a real specimen . she talks like a corny anime villain and makes up ridiculous elaborate stories about herself to seem super cool and hardcore. she will tell you shes fought whole gangs of armed guys with just her fists and won and fully thinks youll believe her . all i can really say is shes like those kids who roleplay as wolves on the playground except its not an act and shes really just like that
she fights a lot of people just for fun but somehow always becomes friends with them afterwards . because of this she is pretty well known in some areas of the city . she may be very strange but overall people tend to really like her

she lives in an apartment right in the city with her mom, stepdad and older sister . in all honesty shes only ever home in the evenings for dinner and going to bed because shes always out running around doing god knows what . even in bad weather

backstory

nothing too wild for me to write here .. her family moved to canada a few months before she was born, but she can speak vietnamese and she and her mom and sister go back to visit the rest of their family pretty often
when she was still quite young her parents split up and her mom remarried to lorens dad and thats how theyre related

she does go to school but whenever i get around to writing this story its going to take place mainly in the summer
and also everyone she knows is told a completely different backstory about herself because of course

loren

theyre actually stepsiblings but that doesnt matter. loren is a very frequent victim of karol's antics but its all in good fun and she just likes to mess with him. whenever she gets tired out she goes to his and rues place just to hang out, eat their food and pet the cats

vern

theyre best friends! their first interaction happened because karol wanted to fight vern since hes a real unit and she thought he looked tough. their friendship is awesome because theyre both autistic and truly understand eachother . they beat eachother up pretty often entirely just for fun and usually just run around town together . originally karol wasnt allowed in vern and germs house because germ thinks shes too rambunctious , but she gets surprisingly calm when shes not outside so its no big deal anymore

rue

of course theyre buddies cuz karol is lorens sister . rue very genuinely goes along with whatever foolishness karol rambles about . and also sometimes she tosses karol around because theyres not many people who can really wrangle her so she gets a real kick out of it

trivia

she is freaking insane at skateboarding she would kill it in competitions but she'll just say some shit like "i cant join competitions because my skills rub off on other people so then theyll win using MY hard work"

that eyebrow slit is actually not on purpose - she had it pierced but it got ripped out ... she wasnt actually all that sad about it when it happened cuz she thinks it looks way more badass like this
