Story

"Why fight for what others want instead of what you want?" Chihiro munched on his strawberry flavoured chocolate donut that he bought at a cheap supermarket. He totally could afford to buy something more expensive and better, but he told me he just loved the cheap taste of it because it reminded him of his childhood.

I was about to answer when Chihiro cut in.

"'Because I want to help others who are in need, because I want to contribute to the less advantaged.' Is what you wanted to say, yes?" Chihiro was good at interrogating and keeping you nervous because he used to be an officer. "That's what I used to think. But you see." Chihiro leaned closer to me, almost trapping me against the wall. "That's bull. Life is too short to care about others. I want to live, and I want to live in whichever way I want. That's what's alluring about the yakuza." He leaned in closer. "That's my justice."

I was in an awkward position between the wall and Chihiro's yandere baby face. "Yes."

Chihiro was somewhat satisfied with my answer as he drew back to his gentleman-like pose. He has quite the etiquette when he's not pushing someone against the wall to question them. Unlike Hayashi, he embraces his formality when in public, though I think it's more like he wants to appear more superior than anyone else. But it's hard to be serious with his baby face. I nearly skoffed at this thought. He'd kill me if I were to show it on visibly on my face. No doubt, his foot would be on my face if that happened.
