A Daeilim born and raised in the Overvoid, Amil (formerly known as Gear) moved to Earth after his half brother went missing and his feathered wings moulted. He ended up staying, and now has to deal with all the wonders and tragedies of living with humans.

Background
After moving to Earth, he decided to try life anew. He changed is name from Gear to Amil, in honour of his missing brother, Gamil. (He later found out Amil means "One who has hope"). He learned how to be human, how to vaguely function in society, he even went into education.
At some point, a small, apparently non verbal goblin turned up in his flat. After many attempts at leaving it somewhere outside, he eventually gave up and let it stay. It behaved like a cat; disapperaed and reappeared randomly, wanted food when it already had food and slept a lot. This small goblin eventually started talking... but never very coherently.
He found out it's name was Fidget, and they lived together for quite a while. It was only a few years later Amil found out a creature called Loqui existed, and that two had taken up residence within his soul. Fidget was one of those.
Even after this discovery, they continued living together pretty normally. If anything, Fidget helped him through some hard times.
