Profile
*squints*
a demon sealed away for a few centuries
after being summoned by a cult and finding a dead body presented to him, he flies into a rage, creating an earthquake that kills the surrounding cultists
he manages to resurrect leslie, and they strike a deal to each pursue their goals together
height is 7'8"
only part of his seals were undone by the cultists, so his powers are still somewhat limited. the main one being that he's unable to physically manifest unless inside his summoning circle, so he shares his body with Leslie when they go out to do whatever
due to being sealed, his knowledge of the world is a bit outdated. he chose his clothes based on the first thing he found in leslie's closet.
Leslie's not very impressed
Between the two of them, Alastair is the more responsible one, while also being completely clueless to the 21st century. He's able to manifest any form of clothing, and his fashion include whatever looks comfortable from Leslie's closet and 17th century french clothes (which was around the time he got sealed)
He's a very mellow guy with a charming personality, and can easily sweet-talk his way out of anything.
while leslie kept his bad sleeping and eating habits, Alastair's always by his side berating him to take better care of his body
When him and Leslie first met each other, the only language they could both speak was Latin (leslie happened to have studied it a bit), but Alastair's able to understand anyone regardless. In any case, he's bringing himself up to speed with modern day english.
so before he was sealed, Alastair used to be one of the most skilled in magic (demonic magic, i guess, but i haven't written that far yet), but after 4 centuries, his knowledge has become a biiiiit outdated. he's a little miffed about that. in the same vein, he's also really frustrated about not being able to understand exactly what the glyphs on leslie's back mean.
(side note but on the topic of uh, demons or something. idk. regarding possession, the easiest way for a demon to possess someone is for the person themselves to willingly let them do so. afterwards the demon could just take care of the soul and do whatever. so it's a lot of risk for if someone wanted to summon a demon and contract with it. but with the development of glyphs, a person could call the demon, force them into a proxy (that has been killed. usually), and put them under their control using glyphs. it's a more secure way of harnessing a demon's power without any risk to their own person, but it's also prone to more failure. such as if they call forth a demon that is powerful enough to overcome the magic of the glyph.
um. this is a bit disconnected but im dumping lore that i think of. i'll properly make sense of it eventually
