A Scottish immigrant, his family had to leave him with an orphanage as they were too poor to support him as well as themselves. It just so happened to be the same one Rob had been taken to, and he left alongside him.
He's not the voice of reason, but he's not as impulsive as Piper or Rob. He goes along with most of their antics, but he's also the main reason they don't get hurt.
Now with the GC, he's settled in very well. He and Aaran treat each other like brothers, more so than they do with any other GC member.
He's very protective of all the kiddos at the GC, but none more-so than Winston and Andy.
The scar on his cheek came from a fight with another street kid who was hopped up on something and tried to steal Eddie's food.
His parents do still visit, honestly preferring the GC to the orphanage, but they're still in no position to take him back.
