Mordecai enjoys the company of others in theory, but cannot seem to keep company for long before he says something to make the air tense and uncomfortable. He tends to keep out of the way of others to avoid awkward situations, but is always willing to assist however he can... He is kindly and caring, having become a mortician out of wanting to fix cadavers and help the mourning cope.
A bizarre mortician who was born and raised in the town. Ever since he was a child he was ostracized for his strange and unconventional interests; because of this he begun to shut himself away and became increasingly avoidant of others. The string of recent murders concern him greatly, as he has been brought the horribly mangled or violently twisted bodies for handling. Mordecai had been a valuable asset in assisting Detective Bowlby, and supplying knowledge in areas the detective wouldn't be as proficient in. Due to the detective's unbiased (and perhaps even kindly) treatment of him Modecai seems to have developed deeply romantic feelings for the detective; but it is a secret which he harbors in strong silence so as to not impede the other's work or make things awkward between them.
