personality

shivering’sea is a soft, introverted cat. they tend to be a bit of a dreamer and spend a lot of time on their own, as well as being easily distracted. it cares deeply for the members of the alliance, though it isn’t the best at showing how it genuinely feels. the others in the alliance understand this, though. shivering’sea may be a soft-hearted cat, but they also aren’t afraid to protect what they care for, and while they may have a weak backbone in most cases, this is an exception. it is soft-spoken at most times and due to their nature as an easily-distracted dreamer, it can lose track of conversations easily. they are prone to injury, and despite being very slow and cautious, they unfortunately have a tendency to get themself hurt.

history

shivering’sea was born as mist into a small traveling family, and ever since it was young, it has always felt a calling towards leaving their family- not that it didn’t love them, of course, but it had a certain spirit-led feeling. they and their family had always been outcasts, wandering alone out of fear of other groups who may cause them harm, and shivering’sea felt a need to protect others like them. it doesn’t remember when exactly it started dreaming of a spirit cat who further compelled it to found a new group, but after a moon of receiving these dreams, it went off on its own to do just as the spirit told it to.
along the way, they were often guided by a brown moth that shivering’sea began calling salvi, and who they believe to be a representation of the spirit cat in their dreams in the waking world. salvi has stuck with them for moons now, and shivering’sea continues to turn to her for guidance, as well as for things like sending messages between two places.
