🌐 ??? Embracing the tides; consistancy masked by change, chasing equilibrium. Hurricane Lance decimated Dais's hometown, leaving her with a broken spine, unpayable medical debt, and parentless. After her injury leaves her unable to continue working as a fisherman, she becomes enticed by the high compensatory payment that Adam promises to those who participate in his research study. Seeing no alternative to secure her little sister a chance at life otherwise, Dais signs away her rights to participate in Adam's research project. Dais is a willful, stubborn, withdrawn, and brutally honest person. Despite this, she is also exceedingly empathetic and steadfastly dedicated to bettering herself and assisting others. She has an exceptionally high pain tolerance, but often neglects her own needs to help others. |
