Sherlock Holmes is 'the worlds only consulting detective' (self proclaimed), taking cases from Scotland Yard and various clients across the country. Where she goes, her blogger and flatmate John Watson is sure to follow. The two may as well be attatched at the hip.
PERSONALITY
Sherlock may be incredibly and perceptive, but when it comes to matters of emotion they completely drop the ball. They are aloof, abrasive, and blunt, to the point of coming across as an asshole. Most of the time, they don't even realize how rude they're being. And when they do realize, they rarely care. She is unbothered by social norms and isn't concerned with what people think about her. Sherlock tries to act impartial and logical as often as possible, due to his line of work, and refrains from expressing emotions or vulrnerability as he believes they do nothing but hinder him. Despite this they care deeply for their friends and can even be clingly and protective- something they poorly try to hide. Her own poor understanding of others emotions applies to herself as well, and while she doesn't get attatched often, she loves unforgivingly. While outwardly percieved as no nonsense due to how serious she acts on cases, Sherlock loves to be silly, theatrical, and enigmatic.
History
Sherlock unsurprisingly comes from Old Money. She lived on a secluded Estate with her brother and parents for several years, until running away to London when she was a teen. Not much is known about Sherlock's past, but it is known both of her parents are dead. And something must have happened to make him have such a strong distate for his brother, Mycroft.

John Watson
Sherlock's flatmate, doctoer, blogger, partner, and conductor of light. Someone who Sherlock loves wholeheartedly, and views as his better half. The two are very close, even though their relationship can be rocky at times. Somewhere in between romantic and platonic.
Mycroft Holmes
Sherlock's older brother. She considers him a pervasive thorn in her side- someone she holds a strong resentment for. At best it is sibling rivalry level, at worst she considers him her arch nemesis. They have a very complicated and long history. It seems they can hardly stand to be in the same room together, and yet they still harbor some vague feelins of familial love. At the very least, Mycroft does worry for Sherlock and want to look out for them. His attempts are just unnapreciated and unwanted.
Guy Lestrade
Formally, Lestrade and Sherlock are long time coworkers. Lestrade is Sherlock's 'in' to casework- he supplies her with various crimes and mysteries to solve for the Scotland Yard. The two have known each other since Sherlock was young, and while at first glance their relationship seems professional or even transactional, the two have formed a close bond. Sherlock cares for Lestrade and is eternally grateful for him, even considering him family.
