 Main story: 
Not much is known about Lilith's past; she's a young woman supposedly around Madame Boss' age who one day joined Team Rocket and stayed forever in it. She immediately got along with Madame Boss due to her mutual love for the legendary kitten Mew, and after proving herself as a brilliant mind she was very soon promoted as an Elite Scientist, and, after Miyamoto gave the original idea, she was the one who plotted with the Boss the "Project Mew", being put as its leader. 
Since catching a real Mew was proving to be almost impossible, Lilith started her own research to try and create an artificial Mew, but even being a genius, the DNA was very difficult to recreate, and she managed to create a new Pokemon, a small blob the same weight and color of Mew and who didn't have the DNA of all Pokemon in itself, but could at least transform in any Pokemon it saw: and thus, Ditto was born.
Lilith took an immediate liking for the Pokemon and started countless experiments on and about them, causing an overpopulation of Dittos who eventually fled the Cinnabar Island Mansion that Team Rocket used as lab and research center.
When a Mew was captured, Madame Boss ordered for it to be put under exstensive experimenting, mainly to understand how it could have all Pokemon in its DNA and how could that be exploited. The result was that the Mew developed a strange brain tumor and managed to escape while transported in a Team Rocket truck (this is a reference to the creepy Mew sprite in Green and the truck near SS Anne) ; it is rumored it fled to live in some island.

Eventually, Madame Boss resigned from her leading position, leaving it to her son Giovanni; he kept on Project Mew as to honor his mother's wishes, but also started a side-quest to try cloning for the mass-production of "Pokemon weapons".
It was that way that Lucifer took an important position in the Project, and then became the primary leader when experiments about "Mewtwo" started. She kind of felt defeated, seeing her husband accomplishing the cloning of Mewtwo, the creation of its enhancing armor and such, and so focused on her personal experiments, about hybrid mutations, general Pokemon mutation* (mutated ability, moveset, etc.) and dimension glitching. She started being well-known among cheating Trainers for offering a quick mutation service for their Pokemon, to change them to the Trainer's wishes.
It was also during these years that her boredom brought her to befriend (more likely playing with them) some other Rocket members, among which was Nariko; she likes to treat the girl like she was her dumb little sister/daughter.

After years, she and Lucifer got too busy in their researches and stupid challenges but were both still very interested in dimension glitching, so they decided to create a child (pregnancy is not an option for Lilith, so science lab it is!) who could explore and experiment around for them. The child was named YEELLOW, since that combination of letters seemed to unlock the most glitches, and even though he was considered as a son not much of a bond was formed.
To this day, Lilith still works for Team Rocket (and most concerning, much like Madame Boss she hasn't seemed to age an year...they probably made a pact with a demon or something) and finds great joy in luring people into strange contracts in which she agrees to create or mutate Pokemon, but with not so clear consequences...what can I say, she's weird and bored.


*Lilith is based off the various rom games I use for purely glitching fun, to fool around with the game both with in-game glitches (Mew/Ditto trick in RGBY, sound glitches, MissingNo, etc.) and modding through other programs stuff like moves, abilities, friendship level, or even creating Pokemon from scratch. And yes, sometimes I tried transferring some of those Pokemon to my real games for the lulz, I was immature lmao

EXP-N001 -> "Mewtto", ungendered
A strange Ditto and Mew hybrid, whom Lilith generally calls Mewtto, it's strange and creepy with equally strange and creepy behaviour+sounds/cry, which makes Lilith love it all the more. It's treated as a sort of super beloved pet and it likes to assist Lilith.
Nobody really understands if it's dumb or capable of intelligence.

Narcissus -> Vileplume, male
Lilith's first Pokémon, he hates fighting, getting dirty and his own scent, so he often steals from female grunts perfumes and other things to make himself look pretty. He's pretty vain and full of himself, loves photos and working on poison-based experiments with Lilith. Has a buddy/hate relationship with Ariana's Vileplep.

They have the strangest marriage ever, they like to call each other pet names very often (almost mockingly one would say) but are most commonly found challenging each other in stupid experiments and are never seen being much intimate. No one knows how they met or when they married, and they never talk about it either. Enjoy talking of highly scientific stuff in front of everyone to confuse them, and often debate over who's best, Mew or Mewtwo. In their private life they're more passionate than one could think.

Even though she refers to him as "son" there's not much of a bond between them; likes toying around with him and manipulating him into doing what she wants. She does, however, show a bit more tenderness than Lucifer towards him.

They started getting along very soon because of their mutual love towards Mew, and then even more for the love of evil plans and gossip. They like hanging out together, shopping, and phychologically terrorizing Team Rocket members. Even after Madame Boss left her position, Lilith is one of the few people who still managed to keep contact with her.
---Giovanni (boss) canon character
Likes teasing him and showing she's not afraid of his authority, due to her long-time friendship with Madame Boss she almost treats him as a nephew of some sort. She's constantly asking him for more economical funds for even more, non-scheduled experiments, which always irks Giovanni. He actually doesn't like her at all, but bears with her only because of her genius.
---Nariko (co-worker, weird friend) 
Befriended her due to boredom, but theirs is a very strange "friendship", almost fake. Lilith tends to belittle Nariko and treats her as she's a dumb child, but is also quite protective and supportive of her.
