Being raised to be a criminal. Onyx grew up thinking being cruel was the only way to survive in the western side. Onyx he's very aggresive and has sever anger issues. He does all he can to make his mother happy, making him the most loyal to Scarlet. He can be a smart mouth and sarcastic just to be cruel and hurt others. But even though he seems like a brat and a jerk. He really does care for his family. It's just hard for him to show it. He's willing to do anything to protect them. Especially his twin brother, Sparrow. Even if he does pick on him because he's soft.

Onyx only has one memory of his dad, and that was when he could barely open his eyes at a young age. He just remembered Scarlet and his father arguing, and all of a sudden the house was on fire. Scarlet told him his whole life that his father abandoned him shortly after he was born. And despite his memory, his own mother would never lie to him right..? He grew up hating his father, questioning why he left him. Onyx was raised to be a strong dangerous outlaw, and from his powers of powerful plasma blasts. Everyone feared him as well, he never questioned Scarlet. But it was never really what he wanted to be. All he wanted was to grow up with a mother and father, and to have a normal life where whenever someone looked at him they didn’t just think he was a brainless monster who killed. Onyx also has extreme anger issues due to never really having someone to be there or teach him how to control it, Scarlet tried helping him. But it started overwhelming her doing it by herself where Onyx didn’t bother her anymore, Thinking he could take care of it himself. But it just got worse. Despite Sparrow trying to be very kind to him, Onyx always yells and says hurtful things to Sparrow. And as much as he loves his brother, he thinks it’s how he makes others fear him. Sparrow just grew to deal with his cruelty now. However, he has a pretty good relationship with Scream. Scream can relate to him and was like a therapist at one point. but of course she stopped as Scream has her own problems to deal with. Even though he has many problems. He always had a very close relationship with Scarlet. As a child he was shy and always followed her and stayed near her. He loves her so much and is the most loyal to her. He’s also really good with a shotgun. In the west side of Sakura, you have to know how to shoot with your tail. Most rapterians from the west know how to do that. But it’s very difficult and only a few skilled people can actually be as good as Onyx to do it.
