Ayaka Daichou:
(Name meaning: Colorful Petal, Great Butterfly)
Ayaka is Ruby's personal assistant and one of her favorite employees at her manor. Ayaka looks up to Ruby quite a lot and respects her deeply. Aside from having abilities any regular assistant should have, Ayaka has also been receiving private lessons in sword training as well and has over the years become quite the skilled swordsman. Until Ruby took her in 4 years ago Ayaka was living in an orphanage.
The Noi Clan
Megumi Noi:
(Name meaning: Blessing)
Megumi is Ruby's younger half-sister and the youngest of the Noi siblings. After her brother's death, Megumi took up the mantle of being her father's successor as the advisor to the Emperor and therefore spends most of her time in the capital. Megumi's years spent at court has made her a skilled politician. She and Ruby share a strong sisterly bond, but their different ideologies usually end up causing them to fight.
Nobuyasu Noi:
(Name meaning: Faithful Peace)
Nobuyasu is the eldest of the Noi siblings. After an unfortunate plot against the Noi family, Nobuyasu was commanded by his father to commit suicide in order to prove the Noi clan's loyalty to the Emperor.
Noi:
(Name meaning: )
The Noi clan's matriarch. _ has been in charge of the clan for nearly half a century but continues to run it with an iron fist. After the premature death of his son, _ focused his attention on his two daughters, ensuring that both of them got the proper training to take care of the clan after his death. The decision to make his own son commit suicide haunts _ to this day.
