- Due to her time in the Fae Wilds under the thumb of the Three Sisters roses and lavender grow from her hair. These flowers grow very fast and she needs to trim them, or remove them, once a month or else they will grow too big and heavy for her. Her time with the Sisters has also influenced her magic, making it wild and unpredictable. She seems to have the easiest time manipulating plant life and reality, to a degree.

As the village that she grew up in was raided and destroyed, Juniper escaped into the woods with the help of her grandmother. She waited two days, but when she saw no sign of her grandmother she attempted to trace her way back home. Unfortunately, she never made it. Instead, she fell into the clutches of The Three Sisters - vile hags residing in the fae realm with a taste for the flesh of children.
Juniper was the longest surviving child that fell into the hags clutches, due to her willingness to do whatever it took to stay alive. Eventually, she was reunited with a childhood friend, and the Three Sisters met their end at the hands of her friend's companions.
