She was born in Portland, Oregon to former pair skater Adrienne and championship hockey player Milo in 1998, thanks to her parents she quite literally grew up on the ice. She began seriously training at age six under her mother’s supervision and by the age of ten she was winning competitions left and right. She began to develop a compulsive urge to win; due to this her younger years have become a blur due to the rigorous training. Her family decided to relocate and moved to Chicago around the time she turned 15. She quit school and began training to move on to the bigger and better things; which meant 13 hours in the rink under training from her new coach Manuela, a former figure skater since retired.

Odette enjoys being the center of attention and was raised as such. She loves doing interviews and being in front of the camera, public speaking has always been something she loved. With the way she articulates her words and easily keeps conversations with others she can charm just about anyone. However when it comes to competitors another side of her comes out. She can be very cold, callous and flat out rude when it comes to talking about them publicly but it's simply passed off as drama because of her usual demeanor. She's very manipulative and her ego makes it very hard for her to lose. She's very focused, driven and most of all passionate about ice skating considering it's the only thing she knows.
