Yakob Surasati

With a wingspan wider than most men, Yakob is a boisterous, garish personality who finds his home in the Moving City of Khara-nur within the Beshehr Basin. Working as an Auspex of the local Falconer's Guild, he travels far and wide across the desert as a guide with his Sand Kite, a spirit named Jarra. He's never seen without a pair of aviator shades on his person.

Yakob dedicates a good amount of his time commuting to Tengri, another Moving City. With an old friend of several decades and other children he's been taking care of, Yakob splits his life between the two cities, connected to those he loves by the wind. In recent years, he's semi-adopted a quiet kenku girl he found in the dunes, and has been training her in archery.
